My husband and I went at lunch and had the vegetarian lunch for two. Every bite was delicious, and even with the lunch specials we had so many choices. We started our lunch with really well fried pakora. If this was the only fritter I...More

We have walked/driven by this long-standing restaurant for years, but not eaten there. Although Indian food is not our favorite, we finally gave it try. We had a very pleasant, tasty meal. Food was not overly spicy and was well prepared. The menu is large...More

OK for Amherst where there are not a lot of choices. However, you could drive over to Northampton where the Indian food is much better. Portions are small, and some dishes are overly spiced. Order beer, not wine. Acceptable but no better than average.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was delicious, and my friend had the Mango Chicken and it also was great. The Nan is perfect and generously apportioned. The Mango Lassi is one of the best I've had. The service is excellent and the...More

Good food! I love the curry here! Chicken tikka masala never let me down! I came at 2:50pm, and they are supposed to close at 3, but they still let me in. Also they offered very good service!

Only Indian in Amherst; there are several better choices in Northampton. Typical menu but food is so-so. Pricing is reasonable. Seating but no ambiance.

I always enjoy my visits to Paradise of India. Food is a little cheaper than India House in Noho which is the premier Indian restaurant in the region. Service is quicker. A great reliable eat!

I love this place, it is one of our favorite Amherst staples. Chicken Tikka Masala, heck yes. the sauces are perfect and it is a very affordable and tasty place for a quite and quick lunch or a romantic dinner.
