For years we prepared true Austrian dishes to our friends and family that were passed on to us from Gram. And today, we are even more pleased to be able to prepare these dishes for you. We think Gram would be proud. While you are here as our guest, we hope you enjoy some Austrian Gemütlichkeit: friendly hospitality, coziness, and cheerfulness! At the Haflinger Haus, you are dining among our family and friends, and we welcome you to our table. We hope you enjoy our fine dishes, hospitality and cozy atmosphere.

I had made a reservation for 5PM and when I arrived I noticed that there were two reservations for the evening on the table seating chart. The person who showed me to my seat was rude and vulgar from the start. I didn't even sit...down. I walked out vowing to myself to never return again.More

This restaurant was recommended by the host of our B&B. My husband and I both enjoyed our dinners very much, and the service was great.

I arrived in the Berkshires, for a job, one horribly cold day. I never wanted to be in the Berkshires, ever. I am NOT a mountain living person. I LOVE the seashore. A friend told me about the food, service and atmosphere here. The food...is luxurious. I miss the entire menu, very much. The spaetzle, the chicken soup with CHIVES!! the desserts and the HUNGARIAN goulash....oh MY!! When I was feeling low, or depressed about being in the coldest place on earth, I would eat, here. They were always open, yeah! One snowy night, there were almost no patrons, due to the icy weather. But, they were OPEN! I enjoyed myself, that night, so much. There were a few older patrons. We all convened in the same, warm (fireplaced) room and we all talked and ate our wonderful meals together. It was so lovely. The food, the salads, the desserts and the fabulous dinners, we loved everything! This place is so heart warming. Soo great, and it's the kind of place, where a patron is made to feel welcome, right off. The service is exceptional, the large portrait of Princess Eugenie (Hapsburg) doe snot hurt, either. It is so wonderful here, in every way. Just a great, great place to eat in Adams, Massachusetts.More

I went in last night for drinks and dinner with my girlfriend and another couple. The service was very prompt, and they had a nice large selection of food, but not too much to where it was overwhelming. The drinks were delicious (i got the...grape koolaid cocktail). I ordered the French onion soup as an appetizer, it was really good, some of the best I’ve had! I also ordered the Bratwurst, and that too was awesome. The apple sauerkraut and mustard that came with the brat were really good, and I’m not a huge sauerkraut person. Everyone i went with also enjoyed both their meals and drinks. All in all it’s a great place with good food and good service!More

The meals were wonderful. Service was great. I would request Jan when we return. She made our night and had a wonderful sense of humor.

We arrived unexpectedly very early for our reservation and were delighted to be seated immediately. Jason our waiter was attentive and had our cocktails on the table quickly. Unfortunately we tried to order the German Potato pancake appetizer and were told they were not available....HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE POTATOES on a Saturday night at 6pm ?? We did have the Austrian Salad,it was very good. The French onion soup was delicious. We had the Wiener Schnitzel entree with hand-made späetzle which was OUTSTANDING. Veal was tender and cooked perfectly. Ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel sauce which was also delicious on the veal. Overall very good food and service. We will be returning here next time we are in the Berkshires.More

Ventured here on a wet saturday evening unsure what to expect. Chose dinning room and it felt a little cold. The placing of all the couple tables by the entrance seemed odd. Had the chicken schnitzel which i loved. Cheese fondue was a surprise starter...was not how it was described. Left happyMore

Our dinner was excellent. We arrived close to closing time but our server was totally responsive and professional and provided us with a leisurely dinner experience. We really like good German Food and This was some of the best German Food we have had anywhere including...several trips to Gernany. Headliner Haus might be the best anywhere.More

Our fourth visit to the area and the restaurant. It has now become a must go-to restaurant. We have been here with a large family group, grandkids, and now just us. Each dining experience was outstanding. The service, ambiance and the dishes are consistently delicious....was even better than the first. The schnitzels are reminiscent of dining in Europe. This last time we had a special strip steak and paprika chicken, excellent preparations both. We tried a special Asian shrimp appetizer which was wonderful. The only thing is that I don’t remember the exact name. Ask for it, you will not be disappointed. I look forward to returning many more times when in the area.More
