We got there right at 4pm for the lunch special. For $9.99 you get a large bowl of jambalaya (filled with sausage and nice size shrimp). It was flavored to perfection! Also included is a medium size salad and 6" piece of toasted french bread. Such a delicious late lunch/early dinner. The ice tea is clear, dark and crisp. Love... More

First time eating here. Very convenient and close to our Hotel. The food was excellent. We left with enough for another meal. Service was excellent and everything was very reasonably priced. We would definitely return and highly recommend to other travelers.

The restaurant business can be merciless. One mediocre preparation can turn away a whole table of future customers. One thoughtless moment by a server can earn a scathing review. Fortunately for RHB-Annapolis, these are few and far between. The culture here is obvious and the management of the front seems as competent as the management of the kitchen. The food... More

I was in the area attending the the 2016 Military Bowl and Red, Hot and Blue was located near my Hotel. I chose to eat here a couple of night while in town and both times the place was crowded with football fans. The staff and management were capable of handling large crowds and I was seated after a very... More

Stopped during our travels back home for a quick lunch. RHB is a chain restaurant and we've had both good and bad experiences at RHB resturants, but this restaurant usually provide a positive dining experience with good food. My wife and I had the tea, which is served in a mini pitcher. Love is since I'm usually thirsty and you... More

The place was packed when we arrived, but it was easy to find seating for two.. Ribs were out of this world.. My wife had a half-rack dry rub, but I took the whole rack of Double Trouble.. Lip smackin.. And no leftovers to take home.

Nothing is better than eating delicious pork ribs cooked to perfection per you order. It is especially sweet if you are a grandparent taking out your three grandkids and treating them to all they can eat. Red Hot and Blue fits the bill. It is an institution in the Annapolis area with tasty rib sauces. You will not be disappointed.

Description
Red Hot and Blue is a full-service, casual-themed restaurant chain and caterer featuring delicious award-winning ribs, Memphis-style barbeque, smoked wings, and Southern sides and desserts. The atmosphere is steeped in legendary and contemporary blues music and delivers a large dose of Southern hospitality in a fun and entertaining dining environment. History: The first Red Hot and Blue restaurant opened in Arlington, Virginia in 1988, started by Lee Atwater, Don Sundquist and friends. Don Sundquist was from Memphis and served in the House of Representatives and as governor of Tennessee. The late Lee Atwater was an amateur blues musician and political figure that managed George H.W. Bush's successful race for the presidency. These men were friends who longed for authentic Memphis-style barbeque and great blues music. Unable to find that combination anywhere in the Washington, DC area they decided the only way to get it done was to open a restaurant of their own. The Memphis-style barbeque chain celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2013 by partnering with a charitable organization at 24 different restaurant locations. The yearlong celebration culminated in the presentation of thousands of dollars in donations to local charities. The Name: The name, "Red Hot and Blue" is taken from the title of D.J. Dewey Phillip's radio show that that aired on WHBQ-AM in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s. This radio show launched the careers of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and broadened the audience for artists such as BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray and Rufus Thomas. Red Hot & Blue Dine-In, Take-Out and Catering. Hickory-smoked Memphis-style BBQ, Ribs, Wings, Beef Brisket, Smoked Chicken, Seafood, Full-service Bar, in a Family-friendly atmosphere with a heapin' helpin' of Southern Hospitality!
