Lots of choices to taste Maryland’s best oysters, crab cakes and soups. Soft shell crab sandwich is delicious. Dinner menu appeals to everyone. Foodies won’t be disappointed. Dinner with my mom <3 Oh and the key lime pie was yummy but I loved the Smith...Island Cake!More

My family and I live up the street from Boatyard and have dined there several hundred times, never a bad meal. Their menu has a wide variety of fair but my favorite is their daily specials. In the fall they usually offer oysters for a...Buck each which are Plump & delicious (Patty's Fatties). The owner is hands on and can be seen many mornings having breakfast in the restaurant. They set up a huge tent in the front parking lot for safe social distancing witch adds a level of protection to diners. Last time we ate there they were wiping down everything between diners including the salt and pepper shakers. You can't go wrong with boatyard:)More

Ordering takeout, the scallops weren't cleaned properly and had sand/grit in them. To make matters worse, when opening a dish of crab cakes there was a service glove within the order! Asked to be reimbursed for the entire bill based upon the exceptionally poor service...which borders on reporting to authorities for cleanliness and appropriate take out! Really, a glove? Wouldn't recommend on any level of quality of fare or service. Putting yourself at risk!More

Corson We are sorry for your bad experience. Our scallops are one our most popular items and we sold a very large number of them that day. We examined the photo you sent and indeed there was a piece of a finger of a sanitary...More

Very cool atmosphere and great lump crab cakes. We also had a crab and artichoke dip and it was amazing . Designed to look like a boat inside .

We were in desperate need for a day trip to somewhere, anywhere, and we love Annapolis so we headed out. Most of the restaurants around the marina are a little ho hum (except Mission Barbecue) but we were in the mood for seafood. We'd never...been to the other side of the bridge and were glad we stumbled onto this gem! Crab cakes were excellent as advertised, the crab dip was also amazing, and the seafood steamer sampler was an ample amount of seafood (although, mussels and clams were a little small) but the delicious large shrimps, scallops and even tasty sausage made up for it. And our waitress Lauren couldn't have been nicer or more helpful Can't wait to go back, we now have a new favorite!!More

We have been coming to the boatyard for many years. It is one of the gems of Annapolis, located in (the republic of) Eastport. The restaurant has received many accolades. During the pandemic, the parking in front of the restaurant has been converted into an...al fresco dining area, covered with a tent and gravel which makes it feel like you’re dining on a tropical beach. The service is exceptionally friendly, as always. The safety procedures during the pandemic give confidence. It can be busy but it’s worth a wait. The beer selection is excellent with many good beers on tap. The regular many has many good seafood options, but the daily specials have even more. We had the scallops and rockfish and both were very fresh, creatively prepared with a very nice mix of flavors and not overly salty. And of course: you have to try the titanic (iceberg) salad, it is fantastic!More

We drove from DC to Annapolis to check this place out. Yeah.. the line was a bit long and our wait time was about an hour, but it was well worth it. Service was friendly and quick. Food was absolutely delicious. I went with the...halibut with veggies. The hubs tried the crabcake sandwich and the kid had the hand dipped chicken tenders with friends. Everything was so damn good. Even our daughter who is soooo picky, took serveral bites of her tenders. Food was tender, moist, and seasoned just right. Everything tastes fresh. For dessert, we shared the brownie sundae. Wow... just yummers. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.More

We had a fantastic dinner last night in their outdoor rented area. Plenty of parking outside and they took us immediately with no reservation, though it was 8:30pm. Sat in outdoor plastic chairs so this isn’t an upscale place. Tables were spaced at least 6ft...apart and with the fans going you couldn’t even hear conversations. All the waitstaff were masked. Tables were cleaned after the patrons left. It was a warm night but comfortable with the air flow from the fans. Drinks were good but nothing special. My husband enjoyed the fresh grapefruit in his greyhound. But the star of the night was the food. We only ordered entries - Blackened mahi tacos and the Seafood special with scallops, shrimp, calms in a too die for broth. No bread was brought to the table but I primarily eat gluten free so I didn’t mind and nor ask for it. Note that neither dinner would be considered GF. We would definitely go back.More

It may sound strange in a crab and fish place, but I love their Asian Chicken Salad. That salad with the artichoke crab dip appetizer and I'm set! (I share the crab dip with my husband :) ) He gets a variety of things but...loves the crab cakes and the crab soup. This is an oft-chosen restaurant gor us. Never disappoints.More

There's outdoor seating that is pretty spaced out. Converted a parking lot to outdoor overflow with a tent and fan for those 90 degree days. Nicely done
