Enjoyed sitting at the bar here. Had a half dozen cold, plump Chesapeke oysters, delicious cream of crab soup and BBQ pizza. All great! Mango wheat beer on draft was awesome as well as the bar service!!

This is a very simple looking bar/grill. I am a sucker for carb cakes, and that is what I ordered. When they say "all killing..no filling" they do mean it. It is not cheap but you cant go wrong with it. The drinks were great...and service attentiveMore

My MIL wanted the best crab cakes Annapolis had to offer. It was sprinkling when we started walking the almost mile, soaked when we arrived. The crab cakes were worth it. My salad was fresh and nice size. Our server Desiree was on top of...napkins to dry off and drinks within minutes. She was attentive and friendly. We would recommend to friends.More

My wife and I just returned from lunch at The Boatyard. We’ve been to Annapolis MANY times and have eaten at a lot of great and a few not so great, but definitely put The Boatyard in the former group. The food and service were...excellent. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve had and met the expectations from their claims. It had big chunks of lump crab meat and no apparent filler. My side salad was excellent had enough veges in it to make it more than interesting. Our server, Kiersten, was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is great with a lot of great competitive sailing. I’d highly recommend The Boatyard to anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service.More

We live in the area and have come here for 15 years - maybe more. During covid we did pickups; always great crab cakes Service is spotty. We came for drinks and oysters on monday - great service; great bartender. Really nice night Tonight -...tuesday - veronica the bartender only had time for men or whomever she considered worth her time. We took two seats at the bar - but at the bar stools adjacent to the door. We had to order at the bar - pick up at the bar - we HAD to because she ignored us otherwise. She handed our salads over the heads of patrons and said ‚here!‘ all the while yammering to the patrons in front of her. The salads were ‚pushed’ and we watched to see how long it would take to get these delivered: one staffer literally put them in front of the register to deliver and they sat there 4 minutes. But bar patrons in front of her? She ran into the kitchen to retrieve snd deliver. . Never asked how the Meal went - assumed i guess if we wanted more drinks we‘d beg her for them. Interesting way to keep customers. Two other couples/ groups at these back-bar tables left. It was 4pm. Not a lot of patrons. Really horrible treatment of Patrons. Literally left her 50 cents. This is horrible because the kitchen staff delivered excellent salads - but based upon her terrible treatment, who are we to assume the staff get a share? She‘s horrid - do we assume she‘s horrid to everyone. So: two stars because i have no idea why veronica still works there but food is good and consistent; other nights may work for you and maybe getting a table would work. We left and had our main meal at vin909 (excellent all around). You will be irritated unless you do takeout. We won’t even do that anymore. Too many other better places and you obviously do not need usMore

Dinner at the Boatyard was such an enjoyable experience. Our waitress Jacie was not only timely, but friendly, and very knowledgeable about the food. The food itself was the best quality I have had in a very long time. The chefs clearly know what they...are doing and take pride in the food they put out. I wish I had photos, but we had the calamari (the best I have had anywhere), raw oysters, surf-n-turf, and the Rockfish with Lobster Sauce. Perfectly seasoned and cooked food, with nothing over sauced. I will definitely go back and recommend to anyone!More

We were visiting the Annapolis area for the weekend and came into the Boatyard by accident and we are so happy we did! The atmosphere is awesome, the place is decorated with memories from all over the globe, you will find yourself looking at many...photos and saying "ive been there!" We ate many of the crab options on the menu but the crab dip sure did not disappoint! We were lucky to have Kelly as our server and she suggested the best of the best items on the menu which made our experience even more awesome. She was so friendly and really spent time making sure we all had the best food experience possible. This is a must try and you will not be disappointed! Make sure to be seated in Kellys section as she will make your dining experience well worth it. Vibe, food, atmosphere all on point!More

Lunch on a sunny Monday in Spring at the boatyard. It was perfect. We arrived around 1:30 pm - Not too crowded nor too loud. Matt was our server and was friendly and totally on top of things. Started with crab dip which was awesome!...Then crab cake sandwiches which were also delicious — lots of jumbo lump.More
