Went for lunch on the outdoor patio which has a great view of the water. Had the crab cake over fried green tomatoes and corn salad. It was delicious and by far the best crab cake I've ever eaten. My husband had the tuna and thought that was great as well. The service was cheerful and good. Would highly recommend.

A group of us met here for brunch and were not disappointed. The cost seems a bit pricey but you can definitely get your money's worth at this brunch-they have everything! The buffet had seafood, salads, snacks, soups, veggies, egg dishes, breakfast meats, a carving station, Mexican offerings, waffles, other breakfast options both savory and sweet and desserts (I am sure... After some previous disappointments we decided to give Severn Inn another try: greeted by “hostess” who seemed annoyed that we had bothered her and we then asked for a menu about 10 minutes after seating (the restaurant was almost empty.) Server advised that the fish sandwich was one variety: “really delicious” but delivered another variety saying that they were out... More

Hello, We would like to thank you for your compliments of the river view that you experienced while dining with us at Severn Inn. We do however want to apologize that this was the only highlight to your night. We always want our guests to feel welcomed and we are sorry if the service could have been perceived as rude.... More

Back in 2008, I retired from a federal government job in Washington DC, but people were only too willing to drive out to Annapolis for the great lunch and spectacular view of the Severn. We've also been for the Sunday brunch, and you couldn't ask for more in terms of choices and quality. Dinner I'd be a little more hesitant... More

Don't think you are going here for dinner and ordering a burger or a salad. Not even on the menu after lunch. The waterfront is nice but mosquitoes are out at dusk and the beach can smell depending on the tide. You can do better for the money.

As an Annapolitan, I have the pleasure of coming here often. I have tried several items from the menu and each has been very good but my very favorite is the crab cake with fried green tomato and corn relish found on the Pub Menu. I have always found the service to be good and the fabulous view is the... More

Stopped by for a late Sunday lunch on a beautiful summer day. The view is spectacular, not one usually found at most Annapolis waterside restaurants. It's big and expansive and shows a side of the Navel Academy not often seen. The crab cake sandwich was full of back fin lump crab meat, just a little filler, and really good. The choice... More

A bit hard to find... but worth it. View of sailboats, the Naval Academy... tasty food. A bit $$$, but worth it. We will be back.

The Severn Inn is hidden in a mainly residential neighborhood. You will not stumble upon it, as you can with many other restaurants in Annapolis. But, if you take the time to head away from the bevy of restaurants along Ego Alley or the surrounding bay to the Severn Inn, you will be handsomely rewarded. The view of the water... More

We turned up for a weekday lunch without a reservation and were speedily given a table on the deck right by the water. There are 2 levels of deck and many people seemed to be enjoying lunch on a not-too-hot day. Our servers were excellent, drinks were brought and we were given time to study the menu. I had the...
