One of the best kept "secrets" in the area...although the steady stream of customers said otherwise. And this was Wednesday! Clams over pasta with a marinara-covered pasta...Chicken-fried Steak with from-scratch Mashed Potatoes and Pickled Red Beets, almost as good as mine. We shared each entree and nearly wiped the plates clean. The local crowd was obvious. But we had no... More

My colleague and I were in Aberdeen for a two-week course. On our last night in town, we decided to try Mamie's. What a great venue! The service staff was outstanding . A minimum of 7 people waited on us. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. For starters, I chose a bowl of the Maryland crab soup. It was excellent... More

Needed a dinner break on our trip north and found this little gem just off the highway in a strip mall. Home style cooking, eclectic decorations, friendly waitstaff. We ordered off the specials, which did not disappoint - Maryland crab soup, chicken fried steak with homemade mashed potatoes and cream gravy, crispy fried chicken, and wow, green beans cooked with... First time here on Tuesday night and the food was as advertised. Large portions and cooked the right way. We got the owner as our server and she was great.

Worst food I have ever been served. Seriously. And when the manager was told about it she did not offer to fix or discount. More or less said that we were wrong...! All of the fried items on the seafood platter were burnt and dripping oil. And to make it even worse ut smelled like OLD oil. When we told... More

This was our second visit to this cafe. It was still incredible. Our waiter, Christopher was amazing and efficient. Dinners were huge and great tasting. Our drinks were always filled and so were our carryout boxes. I can't wait to go again.

This place had promise but never delivered. Quantity over quality was our take on it. They don't skimp on portions, but the food was meh. Mussels with marinara was the best of our order. The pretzel topped with crab and cheese was about the weirdest appetizer I've run across and no one took a second bite. The fettuccine Alfredo was... More
