Our last visit was typical of what we've come to expect...very good food, friendly service, a lively atmosphere and decent value. I ordered a baked haddock special and my wife ordered nachos with chicken. The haddock was tasty with the only (slight) detriment being the sauce was a bit watery. The fries and slaw were spot on. The plate of... More

Sports pub w/ many locals. Food is average to good. I consider the price modestly overpriced for what is offered. Sandwiches are great. Salads are not good. I have ordered a salad there at least 4 times and the quality is poor/ wilted and just generally not great. The daily specials are usually very tasty.

We reserved the back room for a reunion for about 50 people. Gippers was very flexible in allowing us to come early to decorate. We hand two servers who were excellent. They were very attentive and friendly. They were also very timely in taking drink orders and delivering them. AND delivering to the right people who were moving around. There... More

We have eaten here many, many times and have always come out very satisfied. The wife had the beef nachos and as explained by the helpful waitress it was large - and yes it was. Daughter and I both had chicken finger dinner with two sides. Came as a heap of tasty tender chicken strips, not the frozen kind. She... More

This place is your local high school sports team hangout. Many sports families get together here. The food is great and the girls are awesome!

We love to go to Gipper's. It can get very busy, so we usually show up there before 4:30 for dinner. By the time we leave at 6:00, there is a line to get in. The portions are huge, and I always get a lunch the next day out of it We sometimes split the nachos, which are very good... More

I stopped by on an early Thursday evening and the place was packed (which is always a good sign). They found an empty table for me and I looked over the menu before ordering the Presidents Cup salad that had grilled turkey on top of the salad ($10). The salad was huge and tasted great with large chunks of grilled... More

The food was fine here, typical sports bar offering, with very large portions. Our sever was good; she was very attentive. However, my issue was that there was no children's menu. Seriously, with the price and meal size, it was a waste to order an adult meal for my 4-year old. I know that it is a sports bar, but... More
