What I was hoping would turn out to be a very special 79th birthday for my mom, ended up being a BIG disappointment. We drove from 2 1/2- 3 1/2 hrs from different states to meet here. All the FB pictures/ various postings are all...over hyped and very misleading. I had communicated with the restaurant several times. They informed me they charge a $10 fee for each chair that is empty at your table. You have up 24 hrs from your time to arrive to notify the restaurant if there are changes in your reservation. That was not where the problem lies. I was told they do offer desserts, and I specified that we were celebrating a birthday. They said that they could provide something for us to sing “happy birthday” over. My sister in law ruled out bringing a cake after I told her that. Our reservation was @ 12 noon, and I promptly told our waitress that I needed a dessert to celebrate my mom’s birthday. She stated that they were sold out of all desserts!! I told our waitress that we could be assured they would have dessert available. She told me there was a grocery store across the street where I could go purchase a cake! Really???? The food was the other huge disappointment. All buffet on Sunday, Dried out, inedible. The egg frittata was crumbly! The French toast was burnt on the bottom. Some plates were chipped, and most were wet / of dripping water as being replenished near the buffet line. I would never consider coming back here….More

Great experience at the Little Big Cup. Everything from the food to the service was excellent. It lived up to our expectations and if we are close, we will stop again.

Great atmosphere. The staff was so friendly & welcoming. Even remembering us every time we came in. Food was delicious and the patio dining area was breathtaking. It was so irresistible we had to have a meal there every day of our stay in LA....Kudos to a lovely lovely place.More

Was referred here by a gentleman in Baton Rouge named Bryan, he was absolutely right the food here is amazing. So many delicious options, but that Cajun Kevin Poboy and pepperjelly shrimp was my choice.

This place had been on our radar for a while but it’s off the beaten path for us. A quick weekend trip made it possible to stop for Sunday brunch. While brunch isn’t my thing and I didn’t care for the buffet menu, the service...and the impression the staff made on us was so impactful that we’ll definitely return for the ala cart menu on a week-day in the future. I recommend outdoor seating on the lower deck if you’re lucky enough to snag a table! Hayden was our server and he was excellent!More

This place is so good! If you leave here hungry, that's your fault. The portions are well worth the price. I recommend the seafood nachos and or the Cajun Kevin Poboy.

When you live in South Louisiana you expect the food to be good. Well, the food at Little Big Cup is amazingly delicious! Our group tried three of the appetizers: Crackling Dusted Mac & Cheese Balls, Fried Mushrooms, and the Fried Green Tomato stack (a...new item, be sure and ask for it). Nothing disappointed. For entrees we tried Chicken and Waffles, Seafood Stuffed Potato, Crab Cake Stack, and Cajun Kevin Po Boy. Oh my goodness gracious! Again nothing disappointed. We ended our meal with the Blueberry Muffin Bread Pudding. The cocktails were good and strong, the food worth every calorie, and the staff was exceptional. You need to go. Trust me. You. Need. To. Go.More

We love the Little Big Cup. The atmosphere, friendly employees, and great food. You are greeted by energetic host and seated quickly. Please call ahead for reservations. They had a awesome buffet set up. Three to four types of meat, salads, deserts, and side dishes....The restaurant atmosphere sets it apart with both inside and outside porch. Great place for family gatherings. We tell everyone about this jewel. We Will be back.More

My wife and I drove 135 miles to have dinner here. It far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful location and our waitress, Sierra, was outstanding. Her recommendation for appetizers and meal provided us with one of the best dinners we’ve had. The entire staff were so...very friendly and made us feel appreciated. We will be back and will ask for Sierra. If you haven’t tried this restaurant, don’t hesitate. You will come back.More

I was fortunate enough to stop at this beautiful establishment with a dry throat and empty belly. I eased into the bar, ordered a cocktail. It was prepared exactly to my liking. As I sipped and began to relax, the menu sucked me in. So...many delicious options. Very hard to choose. Luckily, my server and bartender Amanda, was very helpful in suiting my taste with the many dishes they serve. I started with the shrimp, corn and crab bisque. I love to talk but this bisque shut me right up! As a life long Cajun, I know my way around a bisque and this one is legit! I also tried the gumbo, once again, impressed and quiet. As bartender/server made another delicious cocktail for me, she guided me to the loaded seafood potato. I took her recommendation because she was right at every turn. She brought out this wonderful, steaming plate. Again I was speechless. I ate like I had just been rescued from a raft in the gulf after a week. After I made a happy plate, I was greeted by other staff who were so nice and asking how the food was. Managers maybe, I don’t know. I exclaimed how tickled I was to be eating and drinking there. Amanda couldn’t have been a better bartender/server. The only thing outmatched by the food and ambiance was the amazing service and overall niceness of the staff. I implore you to get to The Little Big Cup and have a large time! Regards, TobyMore

Such a quaint little place. Was originally a hardware store in the thirties and reopened as a coffee shop then into restaurant. Food was amazing. Only down fall no parking and no signs telling you where to park. But so worth it

Little Big Cup, Arnaudville. Crawfish Boulettes, Eggplant Fuselier, and Crab Stack 2.0. And Old fashions. The boulettes were phenomenal. Smaller ones in a bisque would be a showstopper. I thought crawfish cakes would be nice too. Server Herman was very attentive. They require reservations -even...at lunch, so heads up. Beautiful Day for a ride.More

We met family here for a Saturday brunch. We should have thrown the idea out after finding out a credit card was needed for a reservation and you would be charged $10 per person if cancelling less than 24 hours out!!! There was some pretty...good food on the buffet but a lot of it wasn't typical brunch food. There was only one egg dish which was terrible but then they served things like ribs and stew. The things we did enjoy were inconsistent when new batches were put out. Overall the temperature of the food was lukewarm. We asked our waiter what type of sausage was out. He answered with "I think it's pork." After explaining that I was asking because of a chicken allergy, he did not offer to go ask the kitchen. My husband took a bite and it indeed contained chicken. Thankfully his allergy isn't life threatening! The worst offense was that we were charged $2.50 a piece for 3 cans of Mr. Pibb. We assumed it would be a fountain drink but were brought warm cans of soda to pour over ice. Later we were asked if we wanted another. My husband asked if they did refills. Nope!!! I don't think anyone would knowingly buy that. I suppose that's why they don't tell you up front. We could have almost bought a 24 pack for that amount. Lol! We will never go back. Not worth an hour drive and $65 for a family of 4.More

Had been seeing Little Big Cup’s Facebook page and thought about going there for quite a while. It was worth the wait. The deck on the bayou is beautiful. I can see that it would be hot in the summertime, but really, we ARE in...Louisiana! The food was delicious, just as pictured on Facebook. My husband had the burger with the Mac and cheese bun, he loved it. I had the tall seafood poboy with the shrimp, crawfish, and crab, also very good. We shared a piece of the white cake with triple berry filling. Delicious! Our server was top notch. A great place for a special meal.More

I drove 2 hours to experience this place I had heard about while working in Lafayette a few months ago. I could smell the aroma of food as I approached the restaurant. I chose to dine on the lower deck and it was exactly as...I expected. Our waiter, Jack, was upbeat, friendly and patient. My reservation time (6:15) gave me a chance to experience the restaurant during daylight, dusk and nighttime. The food: The seafood cornbread was AMAZING! I think I'd drive again just for that. I selected the buffet for access to different selections and it wasn't outstanding, but it was good. It's a buffet... I will be back and I'll definitely be ordering a la carte.More

Only difference is two levels outside. One nice upper level, and the other level is down next to bayou. Lovely setting. If you go for the buffet, it is located at the front door, on the right when you enter the building... More
