Our family loves Copelands! You can't go wrong with the fried bow tie pasta appetizer (it's amazing!) We also love the crawfish fettuccine, penthouse salad, and of course the desserts are out of this world!

Come for lunch. I order catfish a cardiac with Mac and cheese as side dish. The biscuit is to die for. Catfish fried perfectly with 4 tiny shrimp. Butter source is yummy but the coleslaw, I am not a fan of it. Our server was also very nice.
Haven't been t a Copelands' in years since most of them have closed. The fish was delicious and the rolls met in your mouth. Portions are great as well. Very nice wait staff and very accommodating. Colleague was disappointed for the change in the chicken breast dish- changed the flavor. Desserts were good
Copeland's may be a chain, but the food is top notch. Our server, Mary Catherine, was very helpful, offering suggestions and checking with the kitchen to answer questions. The Blackened Bayou Chicken and creamed spinach was quite good, presented beautifully and in very large portions. The crawfish fettuccini was very tasty as well, but the crab beignets appetizer was the... More

Copelands on South MacArthur Drive has only the 'C' of Copelands lit in neon, but all else was perfect.. Our waiter was knowledgable and the service was quick Our meal was delicious without a lot of fuss and unnecessary sauces.
All of the food (other than the vegetable jambalaya) was really good! The bloody Mary was excellent and the eye of the storm drink was also really good and refreshing. The staff was also really friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions about the food. I would easily go back there for dinner or even happy hour.
We arrived on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. We were informed by the hostess that it would be 'awhile' before she could see about a table, but offered the bar area right away. We ordered an appetizer, and then I ordered the BBQ Shrimp Boil bowl with a side of Red Beans and rice, while my wife ordered the chicken... More

You can always count on Copelands for a good meal and this time, the service was excellent as well. That's not always true but this crew gave it their all and kept our table of 20 very happy.
I was very excited about eating at Copelands especially after having their awesome Hot crab claw appetizer. Then everything from there went straight down hill. I asked about their seared tuna that was incorporated into a meal and I wanted it as an appetizer. They brought me out 8 pieces and charged me the same price as the full meal,... More
