We have been dining here for about 8 years and in ALL of that time have never had any bad meal. The local owners (Tony and Sussana) are so personable and caring. Like any establishment they have had wait staff turnover ... BUT ... even...the new folks are trained and professional. GO to place!More

Had lunch today at Verona, my wife had a mixed salad and saltimbocca (she said the salad was good, but the pasta dish was bland). I had chicken parmigiana, the sauce was too thick (lumps), just okay. We didn’t receive bread and had to ask,...but as it turned out the bread rolls were store bought and stale! I think an Italian restaurant makes or breaks itself with the bread served.More

This is located in the old Gilded Cage lounge, which is a good base upon which to build. But, the facility is outdated, needs desperately to be updated. The decor is 1930s, which is older than the building. Music was too loud for lunchtime. The...menu was a good Italian selection, food was okay, but not something to crave. Just the regular old Italian fare. Not a bad place, just nothing special.More

We recently went for dinner. Verona’s is always good. This is authentic Italian. The decor is very dated but the food makes up for it. Also very attentive staff.

Read reviews that the service was bad. We figured we would give Verona a shot anyway. We walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender told us someone would be by to help us. Sat there 5 minutes and no one helped us. Figured...we would move to a table, same story. We walked out. Two of the waitresses were outside smoking. Well we tried.More

We had excellently prepared Italian meals for 15 people. No one was disappointed or dissatisfied. Our hostess Miss Britney added to the enjoyment of my son and daughter-in-law's 25th anniversary dinner. She was very pleasant and efficient. She delivered each of our orders just as...each of us requested.More

We had been told the lasagna was a large serving so we split one. I am glad we did because after eating an ample tossed salad with a rich Catalina style dressing, we found the steaming hot dish of lasagna satisfying for our appetites. The...cheeses and pasta were just right. We were then able to enjoy desserts: a generously large cannoli cake and Italian cheesecake. The addition of blueberries on the latter would have been nice, but perhaps that is heresy for this dish. The meal was a fine one.More
