I am not a poboy fan but people say they are very good for that. I just like good sandwich or lunch special. They are OK, but not great. The people who wait on you are sometimes indifferent.

Although there is a short wait sometimes, it's well worth it. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly.

I had the new Tasso Poboy at the Bourbon St. Deli in Abbeville. I really like the New Orleans atmosphere. The service is great and the food is Cajun all the way. There are 17 locations in Louisiana and they are in ShopRite Convenience Stores. Tasso is a lean, heavily smoked & seasoned meat used to add flavor to beans, gravies... More

The shrimp poboy here is huge. You cannot bite into it without removing a few shrimp. Here's the important thing-the flavor. The batter is well seasoned, nothing bland here. You won't find it overly spicy, but you will find it packed with flavor. You have got to try the onion rings. They make them from scratch. Most onion rings are... More

Got a shrimp poboy and onion rings. Lots of shrimp but they didn't have much taste to them. Onion rings were like thin, round pieces of batter...where's the onion? The server spilled a couple of shrimp when she brought my order. Not a "excuse me", "sorry", and didn't bother to get it. The Bourbon Street in Jennings is Great, but... More

Our breakfast was inedible! We ordered eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast. The bacon and hashbrowns were cooked on an unclean surface with rancid grease. When asked by the waitress how our meal was we were honest with them but there was no offer to refund or replace the inedible meal. Travelers beware - do not stop here!

This was the second time I visited this place and the second time I was disappointed. Just like my 1st experience what I wanted to order they no longer had available. What I had to settle for was not fresh. Taste was bland. I couldn't eat it. I do not recommend wasting your time nor money. I would eat at... More

They have the best overstuffed shrimp po-boys! Good meals with good portions. You won't be hungry when you finish. Nice interior with pretty fleur-de-lis decor.

After reading kim903's review, I knew it was the same server we had. She was horrid. Must be the owners daughter. BUT THE FOOD WAS PERFECT!!! kim903 was also correct about the 'behind the counter staff'. Our meal was a late supper. I ordered exactlyt what I had hoped to find, a BLT with perfectly cooked bacon, fresh (local I... More
