Darna is very beautifully designed- avantgarde/antique feel. Our service was very good- we managed with our poor Spanish and their poor English. Enjoyed the Moroccan Salmon and onion soup. Since this is a bakery, it would have been nice if they served bread with the...meal. I am not a fan of open kitchens unless you have a master chef who performs culinary techiques. Here you watch regular cooks. Our major complaint is that we wanted dessert but when we looked at the baked goods case, everything was labeled with the date it was baked..everything was at least 3 days old. Not a good thing for a bakery.More

Darna's combination of food and decor make it a delightful experience. The waitstaff is gracious, the portions large, and despite us traveling with a large group of people, they accommodated us with ease and grace!

This restaurant is very unique. Good is excellent, especially the pasta, and dishes & furniture are really beautiful. You feel like you're eating in a private house. Really god for a light dinner.

This restaurant/cafe in an elegant manner presents simple dishes made with quality ingredients (fresh tomatoes, cheeses, garden fresh salad). Highly recommended A little on the expensive side but you cannot complain... Will try a few more times over the next 2 weeks.

Darna's bread is a great option. They have many light choices, and not so light as well. The setting is gorgeous (I love the shabby tables and chairs), service is good, and food is delicious. Ingredients are high quality, so every dish we had was...very good. The focaccia with eggplant and dried tomatos was my favorite!More

We had a business lunch here and could not have been more pleased!!! I ordered a Moroccan Sea Bass. It was delicious!!! It was so good I could have ordered 3 more. It was a decent size portion that came with a side salad. It...was the right size for a meal. One of my colleagues ordered the grilled vegetable sandwich. I tried it and it was very tasty and hearty. It had some of the best feta cheese I have ever tried. A very good substantial choice for a vegetarian. We popped next door to buy some deserts from their bakery. And then we brought them back to the restaurant to eat with our coffee and tea. Only downside was spotty WiFi. But that just gave us more time to enjoy our food. I highly recommend this place!!!More

To be fair this was a late afternoon visit to pickup bread and deserts. The bread was average for bread in Panama, which is generally only average by US standards. The sweets selection was limited to cakes, brownies and chocolate croissants. We purchased brownies and...croissants. The brownies were quite good but a little mild on the chocolate side. The chocolate croissants were average...to be generous. I can not comment on the restaurant food, but will return to give it a try. For pastries and bread I will keep looking.More

This is a non-meat kosher restaurant with a very wide and imaginative list of selections. We had a group of six which they were able to coordinate and manage very efficiently.

Terrific bakery and good breakfast. A 'complete' breakfast includes a side of sliced cheeses, salad, fruit, fresh bread, We also took home a spicy tuna sandwich, cookies, and homemade crackers - all terrific. The service was a little off and slow, but we sat outside...and it was a beautiful morning, so that was a good offset!More

Darna's is an excellent dairy Resturant. Hidden in the corner of an upscale area, it was a little tricky to find, but well worth the search! The food was great, and service was good. Waitresses had a big smile on the face even first thing...in the morning. Tables were inside plus an outdoor seating area. We went a few times for breakfast and enjoyed our meal every time. There is also an excellent bakery next door owned by the same owners. Great bread and other pastries to take away. Definitely a Resturant to visit while in Panama!More

This restaurant is situated in a high end part of the city where the main course on the menu averagely ranges between $15 - $25 US for the main course, then once you start adding in soup, entree, side dish, soft drink, dessert, and a tip it...could end up costing a pretty penny. On the positive side the food, atmosphere, and service is top notchMore

Looking for something lite? I highly recommend stopping by Darna's Bread Co. The place enjoyed by a diverse group and is family friendly. If you are expecting a smorgasbord this is the the place... the concept is quality and lite.
