Had a business lunch there this Monday and was pleasantly surprised. The place is very bright, lots of light and has an aire of freshness. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The three of us shared various plates, a rice “pizza” with salmon and...mozarella on top (sound awful but tastes actually very nice), a spicy tuna roll, some mixed rice (also quite delightful) and a corvina with curry sauce. All quite satisfactory and relatively economical. I’d recommend a visit.More

Nice local, very good service and food. The portions are on the big size so don’t be fooled like in other Japanese restaurants where the portions are small. As a suggestion, the sashimi could be a little thinner for my taste. Other than that, perfect.

We had a most enjoyable dinner here on the recommendation of our Panama travel agent. The Restaurant is very modern and the atmosphere and decoration lovely. We dined outdoors on the terrace, a real treat with the lovely breeze and warmth. The music was hip...and not too loud. The menu and wine list are extensive with many Thai and Japanese choices. While the food was very good, only a few dishes were exceptional. One was the spicy tuna maki roll. The tuna was nicely spiced served on top of a rice roll with vegetables. The mango salad was tasty and a generous portion. I’d had preferred a bit more heat in the form of chilies. On the other hand the seaweed salad was ordinary, no better than what I’d buy at Costco. The portion size was ridiculously small for the price. We enjoyed an Argentinian Malbec Reserva for a reasonable 30$. In terms of food, I’d rather have rated this 4 stars. But the lovely setting and outstanding service deserve my exceptional 5 stars. Many thanks to Angel, our young student waiter. Your service was outstanding and your recommendations and ease of speaking English made our experience memorable.More

The appetizers were ok, expected a little more. Service and ambience was good. Main dishes were tasty. I recommend the mixed fried rice and the sea bass with the mango sauce.

The place is amazing and every dish is to die for. It is rare to find a fusion Asian that has good starters, good main dishes and yes......good deserts! Every dish is a surprise ( a good one ). The wine list is complete.....and service...good. Just be careful with the prices.....a good bottle of wine is 50 dollars.....more than all the dishes......but in the end worth it!More

Even though most people's reviews are good, my experience was not so good. There were 12 of us and the service was slow. Very slow, even though we reserved, so they knew we were coming. It was also very expensive. Food was good, but pricey....Drinks were very pricey. If you sit outside it is nice, but I wish the Ocean could be seen. Also, we had an "unexpected visitor", so I would tell them to strengthen their sanitation issues, at least in the eating area near where the Bamboos are in the back room...More

The food is good, some really nice sushis, try the bambu roll ! But the service is slow.. drinks couldn't come for at least 20 mins.. the second round of drinks the same... desert may be took 40 minutes... but I must admit the management...is caring. When we finally decided not to wait for the dessert and asked for the check instead, we immediately got attended by the sommelier and were offered complementary liquors of limoncello and cognac. He sincerely apologized several times, showing that he cared and made us forget the whole pain of waiting, kudos ! The place has a nice setting - not too formal not too casual, but a few watch outs: 1- It is terribly cold inside , the A/C can make you sick. Bring along a jacket or something.... Alternatively you can choose to sit outside which is also nice right by the palm trees, but if you do so, beware of those nasty flies! You can't see them but the next day you will find out that they ate you like crazy. This is the biggest problem of the Costa del Este area after sunset, where the restaurant is located. The staff knows the problem and can bring repellents instantly, ask for it, and don't skip it just because you don't see the flying piranhas ! 2- the music is extremely loud, and not to everyone's taste, it is disco music not dinner music.. and can make it very hard to converse if you are looking for a calm pleasant chat with your friends..More
