We had a wonderful time eating at this restaurant watching the moon rise over the ocean! Our meal was decadent! Marco Antonio y Samuel were very attentive and wonderful as well. From the wine to the many apps to the main entree, we were all...very pleased. The service was top notch, the food even better!More

Our food was so good we had to go back on another night for more, and we were only in Panama for 1 week. EVERYTHING was delicious! Thank you for taking care of us Angelo!!

We went here based on it being noted as a top Italian place to eat in Panama City. My family is from Italy so we know Italian. Overall the food was good. Excellent pizza and focaccia but otherwise left us wanting. My lasagna was good...but not even very good really and my sisters salmon was not very good at all. Not sure what their specialty was but even my sons pasta was just good and not great. They did not even have spaghetti bolognese even though one of the dishes noted the sauce. Was told it is prepared in advance so no sauce to even make the pasta that way for us. Expected better so disappointed and rating reflects that more than anything. though this is still a good choice and maybe just make it a pizza outing and if someone orders a dish hope the dish you get is one of the better ones I guess.More

We ordered a pasta with fresh tomatoes and a pizza. The pasta was very delicious and tasty. And the pizza was fenomenal. We never ate pizza like this before. Angelo the waiter was very kind, helpful and attentive. Thanks Angelo, thank you La Vespa. We...recommend this place to everyone. 😊More

What a great place! We left a resort to finally have some good food. We shared a pizza, salad and two mains. Absolute perfection. Reasonable prices for food and wine. Shawn bent over backwards for us and the staff makes this place. Seems everyone speaks...English , menus easy to read. Walking distance or $2 Uber from the Waldorf. Even though the website was in Spanish it wasn’t hard to figure out, but we really didn’t need a reso. But we were happy they were open during Covid-19. Streets are kinda empty.More

The best dinner we had on a recent trip to Panama City. The staff sang Happy Birthday with a complimentary panna cotta to complete our dinner. Highly recommend.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and was looking for a place for dinner and came across this highly-recommended restaurant a short walk from my room. I was greeted at the door by Angelo who saw to it that I received his utmost attention....The menus are tri-lingual (Italian, Spanish and English) and the wine list had prices spelled out. There was wi-fi available but the place seemed so classy I didn't bother to try it. I went for pasta but I found myself choosing the salmon with potato crumbs which came with a side of broccoli. Each bite was just what you hoped for. There were also thin slices of what looked like baked potato above the fish but below the crumbs. Alfredo was very personable and made the meal special with his background story. His English is above conversational and he seems equally adept at Spanish. Highly recommended.More

A five minute easy walk. My husband and I walked it easily.
