Real Panama food and real Panama prices. Stopped in for a late lunch. Mostly locals and some other tourists there. Service and staff friendly.

One of the oldest restaurants in Ciudad de Panamá at the edge of Casco Viejo. Not fancy food but very well prepared and good portions. The prices beat nearly anything else you can find in Casco Viejo. Popular with locals and not just tourists. Good...service too.More

We paid a visit to this great little restaurant on the recommendation of friends who have been here before, and we weren't disappointed. This resto has been in operation at this location since 1875 and according to the menu, many famous people from all walks...of life have entered these doors over the past many years. We enjoyed a most ample lunch of corvina, fries, patecones, and salad and the whole bill came to just $10.00. The food was delicious, service was good and friendly, despite the fact we can't speak much of the language ourselves. Our waitress was very patient and always smiling. This resto is located just on the edge of Casco Viejo and some of the surroundings are seedy and run-down looking, but don't let that stop you from searching this place out and giving it a try. The streets around here are very narrow and typical of Panama, very poorly-signed, if signed at all. Parking of any kind can be a challenge but don't let that stop you from seeking out this place and giving it a try. You'll be glad you did!More

We went here because it was so high rated on Trip Advisor but I did not personally feel comfortable so we left. It was not in the best looking of neighborhoods and the inside was a turnoff to me. Maybe I am just too spoiled.

We went three times during our trip to Panama City. Service was efficient and the food was just delicious! I especially recommend the garlic sea bass. Entrees also in the $7ish range, which is pretty good for anything around the Casco Viejo neighborhood. Across the...street is real Panama City with $5 haircuts and other affordable services, like laundrymat, internet cafe, and tailors.More

First dinner spot and we were happy! Fresh pineapple juice on point. Garlic fish with hot crispy french fries 👍🏾 SUPER reasonable prices. A meal for $10. Fresh ingredients. Can't go wrong. Come with your basic Spanish & the servers are patient to understand what...you need.More
