I had the ravioli with brie and pomodore sauce, and it was amazing. The restaurant was nicely decored and staff very friendly. Great experience in lovely Casco Viejo

We accidentally ran into this restaurant. We were on a tour in Panama and my wife was pregnant at that time and wasn´t feeling well. We decided to enter the restaurant and have something to eat and that one was the first one with A/C. We were surprised. Everthing we ordered was spectacular. It was a shame we didn't have... More

Despite the name Veggie Moon, this is a seafood place with a few vegetarian options. For Casco Viejo its to the more expensive side, but the food was some of the best we had in Panama. The place is cute and food very flavorful. It looked better than most of the other more touristy options in the area.

What attracted us to Veggie Moon was the name since my boyfriend is a vegetarian. There were some veggie options in addition to seafood. The ambiance was great, our server, Luis, perfecto, and the food.. Oh the food! I had the fish curry and it was SO good. It was a little pricey but a great end of a day wandering... More

Eating vegetarian/vegan was a little challenging in Panama. This was our first meal on this trip, and it was delicious. The beet carpaccio was a little sweet, served with fresh greens. The quinoa sushi with mango ceviche was fresh and tasted like it was seafood. The thai noodle with tofu was the appropriate amount, and the sauce was not too... More

We were excited by the possibility of getting some fresh vegetarian and seafood. But we found this place to be mostly an overpriced tourist trap. I live in Venice, CA and the four of us ordered 3 entrees, 4 appetizers and 2 bottles of sparkling water for a total of $168 (average entrees were $25), and the food left us... More

I used to love this restaurant. It had music, and the prices were not too high. We went there for Sunday lunch, and we were surprised! My fiancé ate a soup, a salad, a lemonade, and a coffee. I ate a main dish with water. We asked for table water, and they brought a bottle for $8. Nothing else, total... More

We went there after checking Tripadvisor. That was a mistake. So far, this is the worst value for money restaurant we have been in Panama. 25$ for an Hamburger (Surf & Turf)! I was hopping a great burger for this price. Even more knowing hat I waited 45 minutes for it (Only 3 tables with clients in the 30 tables... More

We were looking forward to a nice meal as it was our last night in Panama City. I ordered the sea bass as our server recommended it. It was over cooked and a very small portion for the money paid. My wife had mixed vegetables and rice which was expensive for what she got. One good thing was the wine!

Discovered the place last Thursday on the first day of a four day visit to Panama. Loved it so much that had to go back on Sunday! The place is very cozy and nicely decorated. Loved the china cups on the table. Our waitress on the first day was attentive and informed us about our different choices. We had the... More
