I had lunch at the Country Store and it was awesome -- highly recommend! The pulpo ceviche was awesome and the pesto was easily the BEST I've had. It's an awesome atmosphere with an inside and an outside. And, if you meet the proprietor George, he can basically tell you anything and everything about Panama, and particularly the plant and... The owner has personally made almost all furniture, decorations, and interior. Kind warm service. Live music and great food. Everything fresh off the farm.

Our B&B was just a 5 minute walk from the restaurant, and recommended by our host. The food was good and reasonably priced.

We visited before walking up Ancon Hill - it was a lovely way to get lunch and a refill of our water bottles and let the heat of the day pass by before starting to climb. We ate very well and the service was excellent. Would certainly recommend the Country Store on any visit to the area.

Pizza, three toppings (for $10.50 plus tax) which could be onions, tomato and peppers, because these aren't included as a basic. None of the toppings include fish or seafood but at last cheese comes as standard. The pizza is a half a french loaf (not a proper base) so may as well go to Subway for better value. Also, very... Stopped at this cafe for lunch on a recent weekday. The menu was quite extensive and included lots of seafood options, as well as pizza, sandwiches and salads. I ordered a salad and it came very fresh with delicious ingredients. Two of my friends ordered the shrimp and it was definitely cooked to order. They seemed to take care with... More

Great food and nice people, but boy did we wait for our uncomplicated meals to emerge from the kitchen. Don't go hungry and you will have a great time.

The have garden seating on the back with plants, orchids, and frequent visits by colorful birds and local animals like Agoutis; I even see toucans frequently. We had dinner at this local cafe on a quiet Tuesday evening. Chose to sit outside, but forgot our mosquito repellent which was quickly provided. Not all items on the menu were available, but there was a nice choice of meat/fish/veggies. Do not forget to order a dessert, the pie was excellent!
