If you are staying at the nearby Holiday Inn, this is worth the short stroll across the parking lot, especially to get a break from the hotel restaurant. As other reviewers have said, the owner Mick is friendly and welcoming. There is a good beer selection, including some hard to find craft beers from Europe. I had the fish and... More

They pour shots of Jamey with a smile and serve up a burger to match. Good laughs with the owner who runs the place with a lax but organized atmosphere. An absolute staple when I visit the city in the future.

We ate at this restaurant twice (while we stayed for two nights in the adjacent Holiday Inn) and both times fish and chips were amazing! Fish just melts in your mouth. Owner was very chatty with us the first night, it was fun to find out a bit of history about this restaurant. The second night was busier for them,... More

After checking into the adjacent Holiday Inn, I noticed a nearby building, setting by itself not far away. My curiosity got the best of me and I wandered over. Turns out that the building is home to Paddy Mick's. The proprietor (named Mick, of course) is from Ireland. Years back, he worked in the area on what then was a... More

When you first walk into this pub you feel at home. The dark green walls, irish decorations, beer barrel seats, and comfortable long booths. Large selection of beers and the shepards pie is to die for! I have also had their fish and chips, and beef stew. YUM. Service is very good.

This place should get a 5: nice view, live music (on Fridays) and the prices are very reasonable. Food is ok but will do in a pinch. The thing is that they only have one waiter who doubles as a bartender and hates her job. So you have to drink two-fisted if you want to have a drink.

During my six day stay at the HI decided to try Micks for dinner. Like previous reviewers, I was greeted warmly by the host and owner upon entry. He engaged us in conversation and was genuine. Food was bar food and Irish fare of course. Went with the calamari and my daughter ate the fish and chips. Both were very... More

First night in Panama at the Holiday Inn in Cuidad Saber while watching the ships in the canal we noticed a small building out in front of the hotel. We ventured down to find a very pleasant watering hole that also served a very well prepared meal as well as a very fine draft. I had the fish and chips... More

We absolutely loved our night at Paddy Mick's. Unlike many of the other 'Irish/British' pubs in Panama City Paddy Mick's packed with genuine Irish Flags, jersey's, mugs and objet d'art that Mick had shipped over from Dublin. The food was great with a wonderful selection of craft beer all while you watch giant Ships make their way through the canal.... More
