we were told the food was great but to be honest all, food, service was the overage restaurant, I think for a daily time of a local person, nothing special

Seriously, I have no idea how this restaurant has managed to stay open so long. I guess it is because of the inadvertent tourists and the good location. My experience here was very disappointing. I went with friends after a show in the National Theater, looking for some drinks and snacks. The drinks are ok, cold beers, average margaritas. But... More

After reading the not-so-bad reviews of Tequila, a Venezuelan-run Mexican restaurant, we decided to have a light lunch, and Mexican food sounded like a nice change--- little did we know how light it would be. The waitress explained, in Spanish, that most of the things on the menu were unavailable---no burritos, no nachos, no enchiladas...only tacos with flour tortillas not... More

After getting off a long flight, I wanted some "latino" food. Tequila turned out to be the only option I could find late in the evening. It was standard Mexican fare. Portions were okay. Food was tasty enough. It didn't rock my world but it was not bad. Best part was the stupendous amount of cheese on the nachos! Also,... More

Nice location in the old colonial city, an area currently being restored and overall a very nice area to tour and walk around. Our visit was a mid afternoon break to get out of the sun, have a cold drink and a snack. The beer was cold and the nachos tasty. The service could have been a bit better, but... More

My wife, two daughters and I had a late lunch and everything was very good. The a/c inside was on the fritz but after a couple of cold cervesas I didn't mind. We had tacos, quesadillas, flautas and chicken pasta with a Creme sauce. Good meal at a reasonable price.

We stopped at this place because it was 5.30pm in the evening, and was supposed to be Happy Hour. We sat outside, the seats were hard and dirty. I ordered a Cosmopolitan and my husband had a beer. We also asked for chips. My Cosmopolitan had so little vodka in in, I think they just showed my glass the bottle... More

We stepped into this little place after touring the colonial part of Panama and I'm so glad we did! The food was pretty good, the beer was ice cold, and the service was attentive (can you believe it? Good customer service in Panama City!). This is definitely a fun little spot to checkout.

We ducked out of the rain here for burritos and margaritas, it was nice to get what we as Americans think of as Mexican in Panama. The servers were quite nice and kept our drinks coming well into the afternoon.

Nice stop off place when you are hot. We had great Cheese quesadillas and a few much appreciated Panama Cervezas. We sat outside and just people watched for hours it seemed like. Interesting location, as everyone seem to pass that location. I would definitely go back.
