We were walking around the "Casco Antiguo" and a very friendly young man told us a little about the history of the area. I'm from Panama and was pleasantly surprised how well informed he was. He said he worked for the restaurant Diablicos. It was hot outside and around 2pm so we went in for a beer and maybe some... More

We found the place by accident, and to our surprise the menu was comprised of topically local food. Also as we were accompanied to our table we were informed that a large group had reserved most of the restaurant and that a local dance company was going to perform local dances. The food we. Had was excellent, the atmosphere great... More

We went there with a large group of business partners. The ambiance was nice , with a little show of local dance ... Music was nice ! But the food was really "so so" .. Very basic panama food ... The wine was just drinkable ... The place is in the old city in which I believe you can find... More

Several of us had undercooked meals or cold meals. Food is pretty ordinary. Service is slow. Dancing is good, but they dance faced towards a wall, if they moved tables around better you might see more than a pole with glimpses of dancing. There must be better places around...

the draw of this place is supposed to be the Demonic Dance exhibition that they put on nightly, where people put on sacred costumes, kind of like the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico, and dance wildly among the tables. That part may have been good, if highly touristic, but we didn't stay for the show, having just wanted... More

PWe were visiting the historic Casco Viejo and wanted to have dinner in the area. Several merchants declared that Diablicos, and we were glad they did! We each had something different on the menu. We walked in at the right time, monitors were Bog2. Dinner was fabulous, service was great. Prices were fair considering the portions. We enjoyed and this... More

We were invited to come in to this restaurant and told about the traditional Panamanian performance that would occur. We made a reservation for the next night and we are so glad we did! I had the ropa vieja and my partner had a fried sea bass that was marinated and cooked to perfection! This restaurant is a must for... More

After 2 months in Central America we have a good idea off what to expect in traditional restaurants. We ordered the famous Panamanian "sococho" chicken soup and another traditional chicken dish. To say they were average would be kind, rather tasteless complimented with really cheap filling. The prices are exorbitant for a mediocre meal. Perhaps it is the decor that... More

We had ceviche and several other dishes. All were very tasty and the service was friendly and fast. I came because a friend recommended it. Good location. Hot sauce was really, really good.
