Very good food at a decent price in a perfect location

The food and drinks here are always good. I also love the atmosphere of the outdoor seating area. I'd recommend ceviche for a starter and the Frutos de Pacifico for a main. The mojitos here are excellent (my favorite is the passion fruit mojito).

We ate here three times during our two stops in Panama City, including on New Year's day, and we enjoyed great food and good service every time! Situated in historic Square Bolivar there is definitely a sense of history around you if you choose to sit on the terrace. Note that there are two establishments side by side with different... More

Stopped here for air conditioning and some cold beer. Staff was attentive and happy. We are trying to cool off and 2 out of 3 customers that came in for lunch ordered soup, WHAT? Everything in CasaViejo is overpriced but we enjoyed visiting with Bogey even if he was only a picture on the wall.

The food is ok, but the attention from the waiter we had was just terrible! He was VERY rude and unhelpful. There isn't a drink menu (you have to ask for the price of everything regarding drinks), and wine portions are tiny. Not recommended.

Casablanca is a beautiful joint, street table nice tropical weather, but the food is not that good I tried 2 appetizers the patacones fried plantain and fried baby squid, for the entree I got a tomato cream! But as I reviewed the prices are a little high!

Aside from the peddlers beckoning passers by to enter the restaurant, it's is a smart, quaint little spot on the square. The food is okay and the service slow. The one thing which stood out for me was the mojitos were made with coconut rum (not my favorite) without any indication as there were no drinks menu...the server didn't even... More

Were given this as a reccomendation from our tour guide. All food was very good and service was attentive. I had the shrimp in passion fruit sauce and it was absolutely wonderful. There are multiple kinds of mitosis and also delicious. Very good choice.

Beautiful location on the square in historic Casca Viejo. Our meal had some wins and misses. Most annoying was the upsell from a small caprese salad to a large Caesar salad with shrimp absolutely drowned in dressing. Was told that Caprese was unavailable when the rest of the meals were brought out, supplied with the Caesar, and then charged the... More

Light lunch while touring the Old City. They offered us a free Sangria if we would eat there. Since we were planning to go there anyway it wasn't a hard decision. Tasty Sangria. Pumpkin soup was very thick with a good flavor. Relllenos stuffed with farmer's cheese. A light battered stick with just the right amount of cheese , unlike... More
