We are visiting Panama City for two days, staying at the Toscana Hotel (outstanding customer service at Toscana by the way). We got to our room late and just wanted a good bite to eat. After the restaurant we were recommended turned out to be closed, we decided to give Ginza a try. Upon entering the restaurant it was very... More

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this restaurant during my recent stay in Panama. The staff was courteous and efficient. The food was freshly prepared right in front of us...........overall a very memorable experience, will visit there again.

Old traditional Japanese restaurant with best possible quality. There are indeed fantastic dishes on the menu! I was almost doing the wrong choice the staff told me I don't think you will eat raw meat nor do I so we made another choice. The steak turning up on my table was excellently prepared in front of me. It was my... More

Should have known better than to go to a Japanese steakhouse in Panama City. Food was mediocre, but it was an experience. Very expensive for Panama City

I gave this place a try because of the reviews.... What a mistake. Let me break it down for you: 1) Presentation points 0% (All missing) 2) Chef preparation points 3% may be(0%) 3) Food flavor Japanese 0% oriental yes only because of how much soy sauce they use. 4) The price $$ just like everything in Panama is over... Although the place had a lot of customers, we were able to find a table in the teppanyaki area. We order the Ginza Special that was grade A+ specially the vegetables and also the Vegetarian Special which comes with tofu. Great flavor and presentation, also graded A+. Highly recommended, although the place may need a little renovation to update the... More

Enjoyed the food enormously. The staff was attentive and the chefs put on a great show. My family and I were in panama over Christmas for a week. My kids loved the restaurant so much we went there three times for dinner in a week. Thank you Ginza for a great experience.

Great water feature at entrance and terrific service. Chef not very talkative, but the food was amazing. I enjoyed the langostinos(large shrimp). About $75 for two, but a super experience.

Arrived in Panama City on January 1. Hard to find open restaurant. This place was open. The cooks were hardly entertaining, the steak portions were tough and overall was very disappointed. Should have eaten potato chips in our hotel room.
