Best Centolla I have ever had. Nice friendly bartender (Gloria) A good Caipirosca Nice ambience Highly recommend if you are spending one day in 🇵🇦 Also had Tacos de Cordero and Cochinita Pibil, both world class!!! Wine list a bit messy and pricey... The best food I had in 🇵🇦!!!

We had dinner at Maito and yes, it's reputation preceded it. Every single dish and the wine was outstanding. We were not able to finish our meal because it was on the larger side and were very regretful about it. We would go back there at anytime and would want everyone to try this chef's talented cooking.

Overall was good, but they need to translate the menu to English... I speak Spanish and I had to ask 20 questions... The salmon and the beets were pretty good, however, they need stop ruining the meats by cooking them with the sous vide. The grill would have yielded a much better result.

We went to restaurant by recommendation of a local friend. We were looking for something nice and typical but not over the top. The restaurant has a porch with tables to dine outside but since the parking space on a dirt lot is directly in front, it doesn't look inviting. Inside the decoration is somewhat spare, it seems that creating... More

I recently visited Panama on a business trip and a friend suggested we should go to Maito. Excellent restaurant. We had Chipirrón, Carimañolas and Dumplings de Corvina for starters. Then we had the catch of the day, which was fresh and tasty. Everything had a perfect mixture of flavors and, somehow, felt special. Dessert deserves an special note. We had... More

The restaurant is off the beaten track. Decor and ambience is average. The food was nothing to rave about. Angus steak was really a flat iron. The lamb smelt and tasted like it cane from butchery floor. Dessert (chocolate one) was very average. All in all as a visitor to panama city you can do much better. Maybe the locals... More
