This is nothing special but there is also nothing wrong with it. We were taken here by our guide for a lunch stop. We said we didn't want a huge meal as we were having dinner and he advised us that we would find something not too big on the menu. We decided to get 2 main courses and share... More

Good food, good prices, mostly locals, good location, full bar, easy access on Causeway, nice servers. And they even make a great salad for vegetarians, if you ask (it is not on menu). Their clams in garlic and Shrimp Criolla are delicious.

Friends took us here, some had whole fish, I had shrimps, someone else had chicken, everyone pleased. Super busy which is a good sign.

Went here as part of a tour and got the whole fried corvina (around $12) and really enjoyed it. It seems to be a local favorite and you can't beat the views of the water. Would recommend and would go again.

Our friends in Panama brought us for the ceviche, excellent! Beautiful views of the city skyline. Kid friendly, too.

With great views over the modern city of Panama, Mi Ranchito is an open air restaurant on the still being constructed Amador causeway across the bay from Panama City. The restaurant is nothing fancy but open air and fan cooled and the menu is pretty basically broken into 3 groups, so I opted for the rib eye steak, medio rojo... More

Looking for a good breakfast place with a local taste, I found this place which does not face the Avenida Domingo Diaz, but it is behind the McDonald's. I had the hojaldre, capuccino, salchichas en salsa and empanadas de maiz. This combination is one of those that I had on my to eat list in this trip. Try it! The... More

We stopped here on our way to Brazil last month and did a tour of the canal and our guide brought us to the island and we stopped here for dinner. The food was very good; nothing fancy, but gives you a good taste of the local fare. Nice atmosphere with a great view of the city and harbor. Just... More
