The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxed, and the food is really high quality fresh Italian ingredients, extremely well cooked! We are Italian so we know :-) will come back in these days!

Was in the mood for something simple. Got the spaghetti bolognese and it was terrific - al dente home-made pasta! My wife had a risotto that was also wonderful.
Our second trip to Pastissima in the past few months and we are ready to back again. Great food and outstanding service. Suggest you try the calamari as a starter and then anything off the mains list. We've found asking for wine recommendations paid off...- great wine at a good price.More
Waiter was so rude, condescending, and annoyed that he had to do his job. Basic menu questions "what side does that come with" were met with eye rolls. I was asking for bread for the table and he walked away while I was in mid...sentence! The place wasn't even crowded!!! You could sense he didn't even feel like taking our order. He did not want to be bothered...BUT he did have time to stand at the door with another waiter and ogle and say crude comments about the women walking by. By the time the food came (by the way he screwed up the order) I had enough and didn't even feel like eating.More
Excellent Italian Food. Excellent Service We had the lobster special $35. A bit pricey. It was fantastic served in a light sauce with light breadcrumbs. A side of spaghetti with house made red sauce. Excellent as good as any sauce as I’ve had in Italy....Friends had a Margherita Pizza. With real cheese. Fresh Italian bread rolls. I had a glass of the house red wine $7. Chianti style. The best part was when looking for a ride back to our hotel the bartender ordered us a local private driver using a local app for $4. Traffic was horrible due to a movie being filmed nearby. One of our travelers has a cane. The bartender helped us so much. He kept looking at the app and walked us across the square to pick up the car. Thank you! Thank You!More
We strolled along this place walking around the Casco Viejo... What can I say? The pasta is spectacular... Fernando was such a wonderful waiter... The owner Simone is a great guy that has done an incredible job with this cozy yet inviting space... Don't even...think twice... If you want the best Italian food in Panama come to Simone's place.. it's unbelievable...More
We were sightseeing in Casco Viejo when it started to rain heavily. We asked one of the shop owners if she knew of a good restaurant nearby, and told us two doors down in the corner, the restaurant is excellent. She was absolutely right. Food...was delicious and probably just as good and, if not, better than some of the food we had in Rome, Italy. It was a great find. Cozy atmosphere with very friendly and caring waiters. Definitely a pleasant and unexpected surprise.More
Thank you very much Lorgia! We are so glad!! Come visit us soon. Hope you are having a wonderful time in Panamá.
I was mega-hungry, as in “hangry”, and unable to make a decision about where to go. I walked by this place and all of the tables were busy, which of course is always a great sign! When I came in they told me that they...did not have room for me as the restaurant was full and they had a number of reservations. However I sat at the little bar at the back and had incredible wine, food and service from this great bunch! The mussels were not what I was expecting, but they were so delicious, and the Eggplant Parmegianna was to die for. Best ever! The fact that my waiter Fernando was SO adorable and sweet didn’t hurt, of course! Loved it!More
Visited the old town last night and decided to have dinner here as it had been recommended by our uber driver. Lovely little spot very cosy and quaint. Service was very attentive. I had a chicken dish with vegetables which was very tasty and my...other half had a pizza which he enjoyed. We had ordered bruschetta to start which didnt arrive but during our main course we saw it taken to the table behind us who claimed “o bruschetta don’t mind if we do” - we found this very funny as there were only 2 tables in the restaurant so not hard to mix up orders. We hadn’t been charged for the bruschetta which was a relief. Overall good service and nice food in pleasant surroundings and reasonably priced. Would recommend.More
