Finding a good place to eat that is tasteful and not a chain is a blessing in this town. This place has a nice decor, simple and clean. The food was lovely and service very good.

Great Italian food. Nice ambience. A great place for family and friends. We had Fettuccine with Lobster and you must try that if you visit this lovely restaurant

Returning after some three years, I found il Bongustaio still a good choice. It's pricey, but the dishes are well-prepared and the service is good. The pasta cooked in squid ink was a big hit with two of our party. The wine list - mostly Italian vineyards - is varied and there are reasonably-priced alternatives. With security an issue in... This little oasis in the heart of the city is a delight to walk into. Everything is sleek, modern lines inside a beautiful historic building. The gin bar was awesome, although I only had the wine - which was great. The food was okay, and given the prices - a disappointment. Service was great. So if you don't mind spending... More

Good location, locale is nice, service is good though could benefit from a bit more training. Wine selection is superb. Salmon carpaccio was good though could favor from a bit more seasoning, calamari selection though overall good taste was a bit heavy for my taste. Overall recommended place to visit

The fish of the day with funghi porcini was one of the best fish dishes I ever tasted. Extremely agreeable ambiance, great and great Italian seafood dishes, makes this one of the top restaurants in Central America. The only minus was the service, we waited an excessive time for the main dishes, but still, the food was impeccable!
