Good place for lunch and dinner except Sundays when is closed. Value for money food and fairly quick service.

I have to confess that when we first pulled up outside the restaurant my heart sank a little. I am an Italian food snob; I live in London and am often in Italy. I rarely go out for Italian food even in London so my expectations for Italian food in San Salvador were extremely low. The restaurant's name certainly didn't... More

Came to this restaurant after leaving another one where the experience was not going well and had an amazing time. The attention food and the environment was just delightful. Had the most amazing mushroom and truffle Rissoto.

Every Time I come to El Salvador I have at least one meal here. Cozy and charming restaurant with a great ambiance for a calm dinner with family or friends. It has a great wine offering from around the world. The menu is varied. I have tried pizza, pastas and main dishes like the fish all savory and fresh with... More

Yesterday, I had lunch with a friend at Al Pomodoro for the first time. It is a cozy Italian Restaurant, that offers excellent service. I had Pesce al Cartoccio (steamed fish) in a bed of shrimp, squid and clams, steamed in white wine. It was very healthy and tasty. This dish comes with a side order: mashed potatoes or vegetables.... Pomodoro is maybe not the most expensive Italian restaurant in the country and it is not the fanciest either, but I can assure you it has the best service and food you will find. They have a nice pasta menu, but they also have many alternatives if you wish to try new things. I have never tried anything in this... More

Food not that great to be described to be Italian. Each plate is between $11-15.00. Not very appetizing . I wouldn't recommend coming from the outside to dine italian

I really like this place and so do my Italian friends. The place is beautiful and the service is very good. Pizzas are delicious, the crust is thin and they use lots of arugula (which I love), also any kind of raviolis are good to try, one of the best Tiramisu I have ever tasted.

This is a charming restaurant with delicious food and lovely ambiance. My husband and I tried the red wine flight, paired with the antipasto. For our entrees we selected the spinach gnocchi with green sauce and the Maria Elena sauce and spaghetti. The gnocchi was delicious, chewy and satisfying. The green sauce made it perfect with tangy capers and zucchini... More
