It was a good restaurant... to bad it no longer exists. Now that Esperanto has closed another place has opened up in this location.

Great menu with fresh ideas and flavorful combinations of ingredients. Great place for special occasions. Great for casual or business dinning. No kids menu, so its for the older family members mostly, but there are kids that have a taste for duck, beef and salmon.

I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime. The build out of this structure is great. Fun little bar, clever design, good artwork.

We were a group of four wanting to share 4 plates. They went as far as to replace each dish for us. All the food was excellent and the service professional. Wine list was expensive. All the inexpensive bottles (not many) were not available. Second time this has happened to us. Hopefully this will eventually change.

My husband and I went here for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is cosy and chic. Our waiter, Daniel, was fluent in English. He took great care of us all evening. The food was an interesting concept. Each dish has at least one ingredient that is typically Salvadoran. We would highly recommend that pancetta with tamarind glaze!... More

My wife and I had an incredible dining experience at Esperanto last weekend. The restaurant has the vibe and ambiance of any of the well regarded restaurants in San Francisco, Chicago or New York. We were treated to an amazing meal prepared by the creative chef and owner of Esperanto and his staff. The use of local ingredients produced flavors... More

I gave Esperanto three stars several years ago, but after eating here multiple times since then, I have to raise the rating. The chef and staff have managed to keep the imaginative food explorations intact, while also raising the level of consistency and professionalism. The last few meals here have been memorable.

Had heard very good things about however it did not meet my expectations the recommendations were not as tasty as I expected very much overpriced and the wine recommendations I felt were very bad. The decor is very nice and some of the staff are extremely accommodating

Description
At Esperanto, we specialize in innovative, Salvadoran haute cuisine that highlights local and seasonal products in a fine dining atmosphere. Our space also serves as a rotating art gallery, featuring new collections from El Salvador's vibrant art scene.

Hidden behind the guise of "El Salvador only has the rainy & dry seasons" is a vibrant cycle of micro-seasons that delivers brilliant native ingredients year round. The availability of these fruit, vegetables, mushrooms and flowers ranges widely from a few weeks to a just few hours. At Esperanto, we work closely with a wide variety of local farmers and foragers to bring these special, limited availability, products to your table.

Our chef works closely with clients to design unique, gourmet menus for special events, private catering, weddings and business events.
