I stayed El Salvador for two days on a trip from S. Africa to the United States; I knew prior to this trip about El Charrua, A friend of mine who knows very well about my life long love affair with Parrilladas, S American Parrilladas to be precise. The Wine could've been better, selection, quality, etc, etc, etc, hey, but it's understandable,... More

We went with the family for lunch and found this place. The decoration is super nice and the owner is Uruguayan. They some really good meat and besides beef they offer rabbit, goat and pork. Quality is pretty good and depends of course on the type of meat you order. The service was a bit slow but the place was... More

The food here is really good and the service is excellent. The price is in the medium end of San Salvador.

I always find ordering wine in ES an interesting experience. Never a menu that actually has what is in stock. Understandable people here don't drink very much wine. Had a selection of 3 bottles of red and one rosé. No whites in stock. Bottles were all under $22 so basically all table wine. Good enough to compliment the food. Always... More

I would like to mention that the service and the food was excellent. I would recommend Parrillada Premium, excellent cuts and very delicious. Overall, I have been in all the top restaurants that sell meat in San Salvador and this has been the best!!!

Very nice Uruguayan restaurant, one of the best places to eat in San Salvador. Delicious food and great selections of quality beers, ask for Paulaner!

My wife and my friend ate here. We walked from Hotel Arbol De Los Sueños. It was hard to find because the address is not recognized by google maps, waze or apple maps. It is around the corner from the Palestinian embassy on the roundabout called Plaza de Jerusalem. Their website says Roteunda which is confusing to non natives as... More

This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. It was difficult for us to find at first, it didn't display correctly in Google maps. I am glad we were persistent in finding it though, it was one of our favorite restaurants of our stay. We both ordered platters which had a variety of meats. One was the "Gaucho" which... More

this is a small Uruguayan place near the Intercontinental Hotel frequented by local families and couples. There is a TV at one end so sit at the other where they play nice music and the TV does not intrude at all either visually or audibly. Good selection of steaks, rabbit, goat, lamb and the usual Argentinean / Uruguayan BBQ type... More
