About

Musafir is a traditional Crimean Tatar kitchen place in down town Kiev. We serve Crimean Tatar soups, traditional meat pastry - chebureki and jantik, steam dumplings - manti and hanuma; meat pies - burma and kobete; grilled menu - shashliki, lula, steaks. We also serve a lot of green tea, and traditional Turkish coffee prepared on hot sand. The design is simple, slightly eastern, the service is great (we hope and we work very hard to make sure). The place is not pretentious, we have free wifi, and pretty democratic prices.

This restaurant kindly let me show up 20 minutes before closing and I still enjoyed one of the best quality meals of my life for the cost! The Dining experience inside was amazing with lovely music and very kind staff. The bone marrow beef soup was incredible and the chicken Kabab was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Would gladly return tomorrow. I could really see myself being a regular. Thanks again!!! 🇨🇦🇺🇦🇨🇦🇺🇦🇨🇦❤️

I was many times recommended by my friends to visit Musafir, and finally I did it, I came to Musafir in Kyiv on Saksaganskogo street, and I am so amazed by the atmosphere, quality and taste of food, as well as of their service that I blame myself I didn’t come here before! Guys, from all my heart I definitely recommend you to visit this place! Try Sarma and Yantiq - it is the most delicious food I ever ate! I swear! You will fall in love with this place and with their food, as I felt in love with it. Now it is my favorite place♥️ My waitress Sultanie was very helpful and explained everything in details and answered all questions about each food I was asking about. Excellent service! Thank you 🙏🏼♥️

Amazing cuisine! One of my favorite places in Kyiv. I often order food from Musafir home and when I have the opportunity, I gladly come here to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and hospitality of this place! The prices are affordable, the food is always fresh and tasty, the location is convenient. Super!

A real treat

Musafir is a must-try when in Kyiv. We loved our visit here, the staff were very accomodating and the food was fantastic. I cannot remember the official names of the dishes but we had the minced meat dumplings and a beef shish kebab, both of which were fantastic. Personally, I found the portions to be quite small so I would recommend perhaps ordering more than one dish. Overall, a real treat.

I had lovely food and service

I don’t know where to start. I entered this restaurant and was attended by Turkmen lady called Durslun. She was very nice and she served me well as a waitress considering the fast paced nature of the job. She gave me what i should eat as a first timer. I ordered manti and another dish with compot. It tasted so amazing. They also gave me free hummus and bread. Its the first time I had crimean tatar food. Nevertheless, i really loved it so much that I ordered a refill of compot juice. Kyiv is a lovely diverse city and musafir makes it a diverese restaurant. I would recommend Durslun as a waitress.

Authentic crimea food

Cuisine clearly displays Turkish influence typical for parts of the population in Crimea that belonged to ottoman empire for a long time. I do find their kebabs and pides excellent and to be repeated. No surprise that this place is popular as the service is quick and friendly.

It was in Bakhchisaray we’ve visited Muzafir firstly. Still than the place is our favorite restaurant to visit. The authentic Tatar cuisine is not only high quality but also very affordable . Judge for yourself, there’s always a long line to enter. Places are usually occupied.

Grilled and stuffed with meat eggplant with delicious sauces, crunchy chebureks with jucy stuffing (cheese and various types of meat), yantyks and kebabs. Hot and tasty lagman (traditional soup) will keep you warm in winter evening. Traditional bread and humus and a lot more perfect Crimean cuisine for unforgettable evening dinner or a tasty lunch. Restaurant is styled as a traditional adobe house in Crimean steppe with embroided carpets on the walls and crafted metal and glass lamps in Eupatoriulan mosque style. Great natural multivitamin drinks made of orange and black currant juice along with traditional ayran will make your visit unforgettably tasty. Come once and realize that you are going to come back to this place again and again!

Went on a Saturday and had to wait outside for a table to become free, not a problem as I was looking forward to the experience. Got a seat inside and found that you could have a menu or scan a menu onto your phone, selecting the dishes you wanted. A really good idea as you save what you want and can show the waiter what you want to order if you are not a native speaker. The food itself was as the pictures and very well done. The food came fast and fresh and was very good. The waiters were attentive and polite. I very nice experience.

Excellent food and service

A really nice place for dinner. Good food, good wine, and good and spacious ambience. The servers are all friendly and helpful, but during my two visits here I was most impressed by a young lady by the name of Liudmila ( spelling?). She patiently explained what the different dishes were and helped me decide. I was very impressed with her courtesy and service.

Visiting Krimian cusine Musafir

Amazing experience not only with extremely delicious food, but also with cultural hospitality. Very friendly staff and always perfect service. At this time were greeted by Ilkin(thank you so much for believing I can manage all kebab:) few other restaurants are at city center. If u are a big fan of smth similar to turkish dishes it's must have to visit and surprise urslf.

First of all the place looked really nice and authentic. Although we had to wait for free table for couple of minutes, the service overall was extremely fast. Our server Lana brought us fresh water and homemade bread as soon as we got our place which was very lovely. She took care of us with the highest level of professional hospitality etiquette which left our impression beyond any expectations. And the food... oh God, the food was just delicious, and I can't translate that through any words. Must visit! 10/10

Very good Crimean Tatar restaurant on the one of central streets in Kiev. Service is fast and staff is really polite and friendly. Interior is simple, but traditional and cozy. Food is really so tasty and portions are big. You should reserve tables, especially in the evening.

During our trip to Ukraine and tried many different restoraunts during my visit. And by far, this has been the best one. The meat has been the best prepared and seasoned, the the deserts are fanominal. Definatly highly recommend while in kiev.

Nice place to eat tasty

This time was one of the best, and the waitress Lana made a particularly pleasant impression on the general atmosphere of being. We ordered plov and yantyki, they are our favourites, everything was fresh and lovely. The staff was kind and polite.
