Pervak restaurant, which I went to with great curiosity, gave me a great disappointment. After we sat on the 2nd floor, a waiter who didn't speak English took care of us. The person we tried to deal with with the photos brought us an appetizer...plate that we didn't want and said you wanted it. We talked to a girl who speaks English and said that this is not what we wanted. They said they could not get a refund, and they took the price of what we did not eat from us and left it on the table. The service was slow, the staff is not friendly. The borsch soup was nice. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's just an exaggerated place. It's just exaggerated because its decor is beautiful. If you want to waste time on your dessert, you can choose this place.More

Beautiful place! Favorite Kyiv restaurant for many years. There are a lot of different rooms, so each time you can choose according to your mood and situation. And I invite all my friends to Pervak, and I appoint business meetings there. Everyone is very happy...- both because food and service. Moreover, both Ukrainians and the most demanding foreigners. I know that even Ukrainians go to Pervak especially for borscht. But there is a lot of delicious food there. And the lunches are great - you have to book table, there are a lot of people at lunchtime even in quarantine. They have their own delicious bakery, great main menu and seasonal menu. Very reasonable prices as for the center of Kyiv. In winter very warming horse radish vodka. They have around 30 types of berry homemade vodka. The guys are very cool waiters. And the management is excellent, you can see that they are constantly working on the quality of food and service. With a great pleasure - highly recommended!More

Borsch and other Ukrainian dishes were excellent. I recommend the traditional Ukrainian meat dishes and hrenovuha (horseradish vodka).

Food there was just horrible.. fish soup was water diluted with pieces of fish , what they call “solianka” doesn’t have anything common with original recipe, Hot sausages better never try - it was need to find such terrible raw material to do that crap..... Autentic interior and pleasant staff .. but that’s all what nice you can find there .. I was completely disappointed and it is hard to find any reason why this place so popular..More

The interior is gorgeous, the food is very nicely presented, but the service is not great and the food is traditional, but lacks flavor. Sometimes, Ukrainian chefs are too concerned with following Grandma Olga's original recipe that they forget that herbs and spices are essential...in brining out the flavor of the ingredients.More

REALLY DISAPPOINTING! I've made a reservation (wedding anniversary) but when I arrived, my name was not in the list. I was lucky to have the email of the reservation to show to the person in charge. But OK, not a big issue. I would like...to try some local dishes. I've ordered "Turkey stuffed with cheese...". The answer was "we don't have it tonight". - So bring me your ribs. Answer: "we don't have it anymore". - What about lamb legs cooked? The answer: "WE DON'T HAVE IT TONIGHT". So I gave up and ordered a simple veal tenderloin, my wife got a sea bass fish. The result: my meat was cold, really cold and it was just three little pieces of meat. Additionally, they charge some dishes considering the weight, so PAY attention on it or your bill be as big as mine. Considering the evaluations on Google I was expecting a very nice dinner, but it was very bad. I had to go to McDonald's after that to avoid go to bed still hungry.More

Food is good. Staff is confused. Not sure if rudeness is part of their service or they were just very tired or had a bad day. After serving the meal they just forget the guests to even check if they need anything more. We had...to stood up our-self to find spoons in their drawers.More

We were so excited to go eat there, as the concierge at our hotel highly recommended it. Once we got there, we were even more impressed! There are multiple levels there, with all three floors having different and cool features. The bottom floor has this...ridiculously cool bar where you sit on horses stools! The top floor has an opening in the middle, where sits a character on a large swing. You can see all the way down, and this is also where we had dinner. Our server Tatiana was an absolute sweetheart! She was constantly checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The food was excellent, starting with the chicken pate, which has to be the best we've had since Paris. The chicken Kiev was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. The wine was really good, svd so were the local shots of vodka. This is such a cool restaurant, with random artwork all over the three floors. The service was spectacular, and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend going there for a meal, as you won't be disappointed!More
