My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the Podil district of Kiev when we chanced upon bar and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,a very cool rustic looking bar, eclectic decor and...furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, a very cool place to unwind in. We were here on a Tuesday early afternoon ,greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who handed us a drinks menu, after a quick study of drinks we decided to try a few of their vodka's each ,these were generous measures ,it was just so good enjoying a quality couple of vodka's each, taking in the great vibe and planning out the day ahead from this bar,the Finlandia cramberry vodka was the tastiest ,a very crisp vodka . We really enjoyed our drinks in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this bar. Rebra & Kotlety is easy to locate along Borisohliska. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Midday till Midnight. Friday & Saturday, Midday till 1am. Sunday, Midday till Midnight. A wonderful bar,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.More

The establishment had a myriad of grilled options to choose from along with an apparently wide selection of chicken Kiev with various fillings. Unfortunately, the mixed meal of different, smaller chicken Kiev was unavailable at the time of our visit, so I had to stick...with just one flavor. Nevertheless, the chicken Kiev and the Kiev cake with a special touch that I had for dessert left nothing to complain about regarding taste! The place was overall very stylishly decorated and had a rather relaxed atmosphere to it. The staff was mostly younger people who provided great service to us.More

We decided to visit this restaurant for a quick lunch before visiting the Chernobyl museum. I chose this restaurant because it was quite close to the museum, and because they had chicken kievs in a variety of flavours (I don't like garlic). However it turned...out to be quite a disappointing experience, took 90 minutes, and I didn't get the kiev I wanted. I ordered a red borsch and a raspberry and blue cheese kiev. Service was a little slow but eventually the borsch arrived. I didn't receive a kiev with it, but assumed maybe it was on the way or that the soup was served as a starter. I finished my soup, my plate was collected and still no kiev arrived. At one point, they also put someone else's salads in front of us by mistake. After waiting another 15 minutes, we asked about the missing kiev. It turned out that they didn't have that kiev, but no one bothered to tell me. I chose a different kiev instead, camembert, (which wasn't what I really wanted but needed to eat something substantial). In total we were sat there for 90 minutes in the end, and I had to eat my kiev walking down the street as I didn't want to waste anymore time. Overall the food was fine, and the waitress friendly enough, but the service was so disorganised (very slow, not informing us of the availability of items and giving us someone else's food). I would not recommend.More

Excellent place to eat. They have the best Pork Sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant is very clean, staff is very kind and the menu is long enough to find something that you would love.

For meats and local dishes, this is an excellent choice. We had a really great experience here. Really tasty dishes (perfectly cooked steaks) and really prompt and professional service. Totally recommended.

Liked the ambiance and the service but had higher expectations of the food based on reviews. I ordered a steak and the quality was a bit tough and fatty. The flavor was good but my pepper sauce was cold. Found the menu boring. Basically you...can get Chicken Kiev or Beef. Wanted to like this place a lot more than I did!More

The best service I have experienced in years in Kyiv: drinks bring literally in minutes, dishes are served fast, and very very friendly staff. The food is very tasty, dishes are of good and filling sizes, and the menu has a good variety. Definitely a...place I recommend to check out.More

Cool ambiance and nice service. Pork rib comes in huge portion and made tender and tasty. very good!! Chicken Kiev was ok but a bit dense and not much flavor. Kiev cake was good. Cocktails are well priced (under 150)
