Everything I tried here was delicious. Great lasagna, very good pizza but pasta carbonara was extraordinary, the best I ever ate. Very cozy place with polite stuff. Highly recommend

This place is extremely popular and booking is recommended. Most people come for pizza which is reputedly very good. The food we ordered was simply decent - no more. However, the ambiance, outside sitting under two gigantic trees is extremely beautiful.
The dough of the pizza was really good. The crunchy corners were amazing. Not to mention, the pizza toppings were full. The atmosphere of the place and the service was also very good.
Its a small pizza place near the saint sava temple. The pizza is quite good according to belgrade standards and I think the best in the neighborhood.
Strolling around one night and came across Botako. Small place, but welcoming and nicely laid out. They also have a patio in the front which I am sure they use in the warmer months. Really lovely Calzone, and a beer, oddly Czech and not Serbian....Nevertheless a delicious meal without spending a fortune.More
We've had three pizzas earlier today (a seafood pizza, a goat-cheese one and a Margherita) and we thought it was an interesting experience. We felt the main issue with all three pizzas we had was a dough, which is quite original, but not necessarily in...a good way: somewhat heavy, sprinkled with sesame seeds, I felt it befitted a different sort of pastry, not pizza. My seafood pizza was quite tasty though, it was rich on topping and did strike the right balance. On the other hand, my wife complained her goatcheese was excessively salty and, although I have a penchant for salt myself, she did have a case. We were sitting in a very nicely decorated rear garden. The setting was pretty cool indeed and so was the background music (lounge, Bossa, that kind of stuff), but the impression here was somewhat compromised by the fact that everyone around us was smoking. It is absolutely unacceptable to mix smokers and non-smokers in an eating establishment. Finally, in terms of value it offers for money, Botako is either a par or slightly pricier than most pizzerias we've visited in Belgrade (including the absolute favourite The Master & Margarita). All in all, one might want to give Botako a benefit a doubt and try its oddball pizza, but I am not entirely sure it lives up to the hype and the price tag.More
As a frequent user of Botako's food I can recommend it to anyone who is doubting where to eat good pasta on Vracar. Homemade pasta is fantastic and I always have patience while waiting for the food because it's delicious. Also, love the atmosphere of...the people that are coming especially while sitting outside in the yard. Good servise and good guaranteed!More
Would not accommodate us to sit outside for the reason that it "might" rain despite a table already sitting outside and plenty of free tables both out and inside. The only option is to sit inside - where it's stuffy and crammed - no logic...nor customer service.More
The pizzas here are fantastic. The toppings are generous and the crusts an interesting and tasty "twist"! The pasta dishes are also sublime. I just wish we could order delivery to Medakovic III The staff are really nice and the restaurant is very cosy. Botako...is at the top of my list in BG :)More
A small but very good Italian restaurant. I sat here by accident as I walked the surrounding streets. Good food, the only complaint is that there is a lot to wait for.
We went here for dinner and we were very suprised, does’nt look like much on the outside but when you get in it’s beautiful. Their garden is amazing! We had a really great waiter named Dragan, the service was excellent and the food was delicious....He had a great knowledge about the meny and gave us good recommendations on what to order. The best pizza I’ve eaten in Belgrade!More
botako is a relaxed place with phenomenal pizzas and pastas ... and my favorite Caesar salad is great
Lady who allots table was very racist.and impolite .When I asked to sit out door she replied no table available and later she allotted to other people and even few were vacant when i left .When i sit inside she asked money first.Surprised not even...any restaurant ask money before hand.Just finished one slice of pizza ,asked to pack for takeaway and instead of packing in box they packed in silver foil so they even dont know how to pack pizza in box or just saving money but not packing in box or completely racist. Pizza was ok not excellent and not worth of money. There are lots of other places you can get best food of Belgrade. In short if you support racism you should go, else just avoid and save your money. In short will repeat strongly no no no If allowed i might have given negativeMore
Pizza small and thin but the price is very fat. Not worth half of that price. Delivery was longer than 1 hour even tho we are close to the "pizzeria"
Whenever you are craving Italian food, come here. The best Italian cusine in Belgrade! My warm recommendation!
