I have been in the restaurant several times and I always leave with question why did I came. All waiters approach you with the attitude that you should be happy that they serve you and you shouldn't bother them. That you should happy that restaurant...accepted to serve you so the overall atmosphere is simply not pleasant. Same on my last visit. Desk where you are seated is never where you would like to sit, same this time. We had waited over 45 minutes for the food for the group of 8 of us. Also, it looked like they had 2 wedding lunch groups at the same time. Quite odd to have 2 brides sitting there and us in-between. We stayed as we had some foreign guests and we tried to avoid unpleasant situations. Quality of the food is average making value for the money significantly under average. What ever you ask a waiter, you receive the answer that everything on the menu is fantastic and they show low level of understanding what the specific dish is actually. You can hardly get any recommendation from them. There are several places in Dorcol (the closeby area) where you can have much better experience.More

This restaurant is located in Belgrade Fortress. From the restaurant you have a beautiful view on Belgrade. Honestly I didn't like food that much but the whole atmosphere in restaurant is very nice.

The food was quite good, the ambient was not bad, but we had a very shocking unpleasant experience with the service at the end of the evening, when he was asking for more tip. I’ve never seen such an unprofessional behavior from a waiter.

Glas of wine cost 6€. That same wine, in store, whole bottle cost 8€. It’s very expensive but bad quality.

I have been celebrating my birthday at this restaurant for several years now. As always, at the height of the task. Delicious food, affordable prices, kind and professional staff and a view of the river that brings peace. Thank you for staying the same, and...for being able to recommend the best sip of wine with each of our bites. All recommendations! You must visit this restaurant !!More

However, prices remaind as their previous...reputation. Please avoid.More

Basement of the old fortress. At least that’s how you enter it. We spent New Year’s Eve in thee restaurant and had an excellent time. First the music. It started with soft intro, you know from CD or something more contemporary, What a Wonderful World....But hold on. The band was playing. And the guy was singing! Incredible! Balkan Express is the name of the Band. The food was decent, wine was excellent, Schnaps as much as you need, waiter invisible but always present, front door ladies super helpful. What else? Great view. Go and enjoy!More

Our overall impression was very good. The restaurant is located in an amazing place. The views cannot be better, and to arrive to the restaurant the walking path is incredible being within the fortress very close to one of the towers. We ordered Ćuretina s...mlincima (turkey with some pasta), steak a la "chef" (sirloin topped with foie gras, potato crunchys and cranberries sauce), ćorba (veal soup), drink a very good red wine (unfortunately we forgot which one it was). There is a huge selections of wines. We were 5 persons in a very nice and big table. Quality of food is good but is not amazing. Portions are are not that small , you will fill yourself. Price per quality is normal, not outsanding from menu perpesctive, however the place itself and the views gives the place a good target place to visit if you are in Belgrade. Being said on top of what we order 5 dishes, 1 soup, 2 waters, 1 coffee, 1 whisky, 1 wine = 150 euro . (For better reference Consider the wine was 50 euros) Ambient inside is between modern and traditional but is just perfect. The service is also outstanding, there is a very good team working there. Definetely is worth to visit , you won't be dissappointed for sure.More

A perfect bar to have a drink after a walk in the Kalemegdan park and watching the fort. Nice outdoor seating area with lots of space.

Had a very good meal at this restaurant but there is no doubt that meat dominates the menu. Best prosciutto-style cured pork i have ever eaten, served with delicious corn bread. There was one veg course which was also excellent, and then lots more meat....This was a pre-arranged large group meal so a set menu and it was very good, service was slick if a bit charmless. There was a duo playing/singing throughout the entire evening who were actually pretty good.More

Large group of us were in Belgrade for a conference and this lovely restaurant hosted our dinner. Beautiful, historic building with friendly staff, overlooking the zoo - from the terrace, you could watch the lions pace about and occasionally here them roar. Great selection of...wine and the prix fixe meal was delicious - a variety of European cuisine - everyone licked their plates clean! Great experience - would definitely return here with family and friends.More

Terrible service. The lady on the front desk was very impolite. After we were seated, waiter gave us the menu, but after 5 mins informed us the kitchen is not able to accept orders (at 5 pm!, and they are open till 11pm), so were...basically forced to leave the place. It’s such a pity, since the place looks very nice, however the staff and the service make the place to avoid.More
