We have been there several times, always satisfied. There are varietes of food, for each taste and preferability. Local cuisine, italian cousine combined in fine manner.Fast and polite service.

Very dissatisfied and 8.000 dinars poorer. We came a bit late, but the restaurant was packed and everything looked great. The waiter recommended that we got the “All you can eat”, which is just a lot of different courses chosen by the restaurant. It all...started fine, though we got all the cheapest items from the menu. Nothing was great tasting, it was just ‘fine’. 40 minutes after the first serve we started to get the same food twice. Then we asked for something else and got told the kitchen were closed. So we sat there looking at each other and could not fathom, that we’ve only got a few dishes and nothing really good, and the kitchen was already closed. They should have informed us this before we ordered. We left still hungry after we paid 8.000 dinars. Very disappointing.More

The Ambar is an awesome Restaurant. We always go there for Business Dinner and order „The Train“. It is always the challenge to eat it but everything tastes awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit higher cause of the Location,...but still okay. Definetly a recommendation.More

I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! The food was delicious and it can be ordered on small plates, so I could try out many different dishes. The restaurant is directly at the river with a beautiful view on the terrace. Most importantly, the...staff was so kind and lovely, they gave me lots of recommendations for the food and for what to do in Belgrade. Highly recommend!! All the best, MarieMore

We had an excellent brunch (all inclusive, for 2 people), in a great location. The food was delicious but be warned, portions are very large so come hungry! With the all inclusive brunch we got a platter of balkan special dishes, a plate each of...poached egg with bacon and pepper sauce, scrambled eggs and cheese. Then came a platter of burgers and then dessert! Service was great and prices are reasonable! The view of the river is also really good ❤️More

Very Nice Place, the food is very delicious, and the band and singers played and sang a number of good songs. The restaurant is on the Savav river, hencevI highly recommend you book an outdoor table if the weather permits

We were delighted we stopped here for a drink with friends. It's easily accessible with a short walk from the river cruise ships. The staff were friendly and spoke English extremely well. I'd certainly come here again although it was one of many along the...river bank strip.More

Ambar has become popular as a fancy place. The menu consists of small tapas type dishes. The interior is sterile with gray concrete walls and rustic dining tables. The music is so loud that you can not talk to each other. Next time we will...choose a different restaurant!More

Wonderful restaurant, great atmosphere, right on the river. Excellent service, some of the best I’ve had. Would definitely suggest the “eat everything” option for ~3000 dinar. Great value and everything was delicious. I wish I had more stomach room!

The service and the atmosphere are nice,, typical for Belgrade. The food is nothing to rave about, but it is decent traditional food in a more modern surrounding, which is actually not easy to find elsewhere in the city. I bet the atmosphere is even...better when there is live music.More

Had a blast at Ambar with my friends. Exceptional food and service made the night to remember. Tapas style restaurant with lots of traditional local flavors was a whole new experience for me. Pulled pork, lamb, “kajmak” were yummy, must try their traditional spirit “rakia”...as well. Special thanks to our charismatic waiter Vladimir for his guidance and recommendations, very knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back for some more!More
