we went with a group of skating officials and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine and especially the outstanding serbian food specialities. Worth a visit for lunch or dinner when in Belgrade. Ask for the real typical serbian food you will be positively surprised. Good...service, kind and friendly staff. Very nice decoration of the dining room. You feel very comfortable and enjoying your food. No problem for a parking place but otherwise take a taxi not expensive. Nice area !More
The meat was ok, a friend ate calamari and he was not satisfied. The service was slow. Prices are ok. It is a very good restoran, maybe we were a little to late at 21:00 h, the service was tired and slow.
The pork and domestic sausages were so hard, it hurts my gum after a couple of bites. They are extremely salty. Also we ordered two main meal both with fries. But they put two dishes in one plate, only one portion of fries. Plus, the...grilled peppers were very bland, I tasted much better ones in other restaurant.More
If i had to compare this place to a basketball player....it will be michael jordan. By far the best place that i ever visited in my life and i was i quite few of them. Price, food, service doesnt matter what its amazing. Take pljeskavica...na kajmaku with sopska salata and you will be happy for the rest of your life. Simply the best!More
the best grill, salads and brandy all you need. Serbian recipes for the enjoyment of master appetizers.
Being a lover of grilled meat, it is not often that I visit a place where I could easily choose 80% of items on the menu and still be satisfied with my choice. This place was seriously meat lovers heaven however the menu was also...extensive enough to cater for those within our party who did not wish to eat meat on the night. The interior of the restaurant is styled to resemble that of a traditional Serbian house from the 1800's. The menu is also very traditional and offers some of the finest Serbian delicacies such as sarma, cabbage with meat, etc as well as an assortment of various grilled met dishes. Service was friendly and traditional discreet live music was available on the night. It definitely added to the experience and made it even more memorable. Highly recommended!More
Wow. If you need a place with magical food, this is the place to be. Very good and a lot of homemade food. I will be back for sure.
It is really a great pleasure to visit Old Serbian House and enjoy in wonderful etno ambient and, of cause, to try great choice of traditional serbian food and drinks. Staff makes one feel like you are in company of old friends. Highly recomended!
we wanted to eat something typically serbian but didnt want to go with the car (we were staying in new belgrade) so this restaurant was our choice. and what a good choice it was. our waiter was very nice and also advised us there was...meat in some dishes when he realized we were only ordering vegetarian food. we didnt have to wait a lot for the food and in the mean time there was some live serbain music in the restaurant. very loud, but also very nice. and the food was very good. unfortunatel they had no tufahija, but tis only means we will have to come again.More
It’s been a couple of years we didn’t came back to this resto ... traditionally decorated, this place provided a good feeling of a local culture. Food is still very good as well as the service.
My favorite place in Belgrade to eat domestic cakes and drink coffee surrounded by flowers. I feel very relaxed and like at home.
Really nice place to eat Serbian food. We ate tagara and karadorde both were delicious and the prices were reasonable.
By no means an obvious place to visit, but massively recommended for visitors in New Belgrade/Zemun area. Great traditional meat dish menu, plus houae spirits and wine. Place gets really busy in the evening, hence worth considering advance bookings particularly for larger groups.
Highly recomended for crafty food buffs and causual dining alike. Philosophy of the restaurant seems to be on excellent ingrediences paired with a non- cutting-corners approach to wholesome Cooking. Service was promt, actually clever and always step Ahead of our needs. Our appetizers consisting of...a mixed plate of cured meats, kaimak, cheese, aijvar and proja. Lamb on the satch- Heavenly. Also ask for the owner's domestic barrel-aged brandy!More
