I came here after our tour guide this morning recommended it. I realise now the restaurant must have paid him well to recommend it! I ordered food and a drink. I waited quite a while for my food. My starter and my main came out...at the same time! And my drink hadn’t come at all, so after waiting a while longer, I went up to the bar where my waiter was standing and using his smart phone. My wine was there too. I know it was mine as he came straight over to my table with it as soon as I’d sat back down. I asked him if I could have a coke too, which he brought and slammed on the table. He later bought my dessert out - before I’d even finished my meal!! After finishing my meal, I waited for him to come back so I could ask for the bill, but he didn’t, so I stopped another waiter - a large middle aged man with dark hair and a moustache. He brought me my bill, and I went up to the till to pay, money in hand. Him and the waiter I’d had both came up to me at the same time. I looked from one to the other, not knowing which one to hand my payment to. The large one with the dark hair and moustache said to me in a very gruff manner “Give money!” So I gave him my money, feeling quite upset at the way he’d spoken to me - there was absolutely no need. Extremely unprofessional. Is this a typical male attitude towards women out here? If so, I most certainly won’t be back and am glad I’m leaving tomorrow after a 2 night visit. He put my change in a wallet with mys receipt and slammed it down on the table in front of me. Disgusting attitude. He should be sacked! He obviously doesn’t know how to treat people. He shouldn’t be working in the hospitality industry! As far as the food goes, the starter (cornbread) was awful - it had a sour taste to it. I took one bite and left it. Then I had some sort of kebab meat shaped like small sausage with chips, which wasn’t bad. Dessert was Tres Leche or something along those lines - cake in a milky sauce, which really was delicious.More

Very bad experience altogether. We went after local friend recommended this place to us, but ended up really disappointed. The service was really poor, food was not fresh and after once returning the food as it was not in order, the second time was even...worse and not cooked properly, we ended up having food poisoning. We have not gotten any apology or discount. Avoid this place.More

When we wanted to make reservations for the night, waiters said there is full for all week. However we passed in front of that place couple times; every time we saw the many tables are empty.

Average restaurant. Cool decor and service. Food is ok and well served. Lunchtime not really busy. It’s possible to smoke inside. Did not see anything like this since my childhood. In serbia is not forbidden.

Terrible service! Unproffesional and rude staff! The music ( manufactura bend) is disaster! The atmosphere is horrible. All in all, very very bad experience! Will never come back!

Truly great food. Truly deplorable wait service. Order everything at once and ask for the bill, as the staff prefers to smoke and text out of view of the tables.

Firstly I want to highlight the staff, Raule (sorry, this I've forgotten his real name but I think I'm close!) was amazing. It was my first time in Belgrade and he was 100% the most welcoming, hospitable and helpful front of house I spoke to...in 4 days... And he said it was only his second day working there - What a guy!! Manufaktura is a really cool place with a local deli and all of their products displayed around the restaurant. Perfect if you like going out for food in a nice fresh environment, but don't like anything too fancy. The food at Manufaktura was great, I had cevapcici and Manufaktura sausages one night, and a goulash on another visit for lunch. All really well prepared and tasty! Drinks: They have Jelen on draught which is a great novelty if it's not a beer you're familiar with (in the UK, good restraunts rarely sell draught beer too!) and I'd really also recommend Kovacevic Aurelius if you're after a nice Serbian red. Last thing - Best ajvar I've ever tasted! I definitely recommend this place and will return if I'm in Belgrade again!More

Excellent restaurant with traditional dishes. It was full during our visit, so it's nice to have a reservation in advance (done through their website). I especially want to mention the mixed grill.

I have been traveling for about 10 years. I can say that it is the most infamous, the most undisciplined, the most sullen, the most disgraceful restaurant I have ever been to. We stayed in Belgrade for 4 days and 3 days were spent trying...to call to make a reservation. Finally I was able to go to the restaurant and meet face to face and make a reservation. When we came in the evening, we encountered a completely cocky army inside, a completely anti-tourist business, and when they saw that we were foreigners, they did not care in any way. There was an arrogant man in black sitting at the table inside, I think he was the owner of the restaurant. When we learned that he asked if we had a reservation with half mouth, he finally directed another arrogant waiter to our table, and they said we could sit on it for 2 hours. If I knew that I would face such a disgrace, I would not have sat for 5 minutes. We waited 10 minutes for the table to be cleared and prepared. Moreover, even though the waiter saw us while we were waiting to order food, they continued to sit at the bar and have a drink with the bartender. The flavor is totally messed up in the presentation. As it is written on the menu, we told my wife that the famous dish "Beef" Cevapı, the presentation was missing, there was no onion and avjar, only meatballs and potatoes. We said Serbian salad, it was a ridiculous salad with missing ingredients and it had neither cheese nor onion in it. I was thinking of coming to Belgium for a business trip next month with a team of 10 people. I will never, ever visit this restaurant, there are many better quality and beautiful restaurants. I don't understand how it became one of the most famous restaurants. Such a business should not exist, I hope they close one day. NEVER BUT NEVER COMEMore

This is a really nice and cozy restaurant, but unfortunately the food is not so nice. They serve the variety of Balkan dishes. We had lunch there, the food was very average, nothing special. There are way better restaurants in Belgrade. Though having a drink...and enjoying the beautiful interior is great!More

A nice place in a great location to sit outside for some reliable Serbian food. Began with a nice raki, then two salads, roasted red pepper and Sopska salad, delicious. Then had cevapcici with kajmak for a main, which was really good. Service was on...the “we don’t want to rush you” side, but was perfectly fine nonetheless. All in all, very enjoyable.More

This is the place to go on the main pedestrian street in Belgrade for delicious, traditional Balkan food. We loved the Cevapi, grilled miroc cheese and sliced sausage. We went back twice - great wine list, nice outside seating!

Both food and service were bad. There were no napkins and the utensils were dirty. The food arrived cold. The waiter and his supervisor tried to explain that that the fish was cold because of the recipe and they didn't have any explanation about the...cold soup. Needless to say, the description in the menu didn't say anything about cold fish nor the waiter mentioned it.More
