Oldskool (in the best way) traditional Serb restaurant, also serving deer (my deer sausage was 5*) and local fish. Selection of great Serb wines. Big terrace surrounded by trees. Excellent quick hearty service, fluent English spoken. No flaws at all.

This restaurant is not very centrally located and I had to walk around 15 minutes to get here. Let me tell you it was definitely worth it! If I did not know about the place, I would not have gone in, as it doesn't look like much from the outside. It was already dark, and I couldn't even see a sign or any kind of branding. But we don't judge a restaurant from the cover. I ordered two salads (Serbian and Sauerkraut) and was hoping to get the venison medallions. Sadly they did not have them and the waiter recommended the venison stew instead. I am usually not a fan of stews but decided to go for it as I was set on venison at that point. Fast forward: It was the best stew I have ever eaten! 10/10. The meat was tender and not too gamy, and the source was mouthwatering. I would go here just to eat the stew again. All dishes were very well priced too and you could tell that it was authentic Serbian food just by the number of locals in there. Do not miss out on Gradska if you have the chance.

Bedja, our waiter, was great. Warm, friendly, informative and a really good at his job. Even really enjoyed our small talk. The food was good. I had the Forrest Chicken and my husband had the smoked sausages and our toddler had the Cucumber Salad and mushroom soup. It wasn't crowded so that was great. Bedja even brought us out a complimentary Drink - Rakija. I took the smallest sip because I don't really drink and let me tell ya...this stuff was strong. Tastes like moonshine. Kind gesture but probably not going to drink the national alcohol of Serbia again. Overall a good meal and evening. Every restaurant in Belgrade seems to be a smoking establishment. I don't smoke and neither does our toddler...but we hate constantly breathing it in. The only thing I suggest is that Gradska get some better ventilation going so the smoke filters out better.

We took our Serbian friends to lunch here last weekend. It’s somewhere they’d been planning to check out but hadn’t been to before. It’s a traditional style Serbian eatery, but with some menu choices that go beyond the standard. The stuffed rolled pork was excellent (I’ve forgotten what it was called), and everything we ate was of a good to superior standard. Our friends will definitely be coming back for a family lunch sometime soon. And if we’re in Belgrade again, we’ll be back too.

The restaurant is located in a quiet park, nice and cool during a warm day. The music is not very loud and the place not extremely busy so you find peace to sit and eat. Service, also in english, nice and helpful with suggestions as it was our first visit to Serbia and Belgrad. Everything was nicely prepared and tasted interesting. The prices are very good and the menu big so you can try a lot of different things. So it is worth a visit.

We came to Gradska for late dinner and it was beyond all of our expectations. We had deer and lamb, it tastes nothing like we have ever eat before, everything was delicious and right portion. Gentlemen who’s been help us select the food and tell us about every detail we need. He was warm and generous on every need we have. We definitely come here again. Gradska restaurant’a farklı bir yerde geyik eti bulamayınca tesadüfen geldik.

We were looking for a restaurant near both the Danube river walk and the Gvint Brewery at Dorcal Platz; Gradska restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. We received 10-star service from “Charlie.” He made what would have otherwise been a pleasant meal into a fine dining experience. We enjoyed the “Gradska Perch”: two fish steaks cooked in a claypot with vegetables, as well as their mushroom caps stuffed with kaymak cheese, their homemade clay oven-baked bread (sooo good!), and also treated ourselves to french fries (perfection!), apricot brandy, and hot mulled wine (delicious!). The restaurant has ample outdoor dining, and is adhering to COVID-19 safety standards: hand sanitizer is available at every table, servers wear masks, and customers are not seated too close together. We are eager to return, and encourage you to visit soon too!

We found this address thanks to our tourist guide (Michelin). Upon arriving there, a friendly and very cheerful waiter offered us different dishes to choose from. All chef's specials! We ate lamb which had previously rested for 24 hours in milk, very tasty. An excellent choice offered by the waiter! I also recommend the "Rakija" spirits that can be drunk at any time of the day!

We had a wonderful meal at Gradska restaurant. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and although there were only a few customers due to the season, the atmosphere was lovely. I had the Mountain Lamb, which was delicious - and my partner had the pork chop stuffed with cheese and wrapped in Prosciutto which was also very tasty. We also ordered a šopska salad and bread, and we had 6 glasses of wine (3 red and 3 white) which were very reasonable and good quality. We finished with Serbian coffee, and the bill was really not expensive (about £46). The restaurant is near a park and, although in a residential area, it feels very atmospheric and romantic. We will definitely return when we are back in Serbia!

Me and my sisters chose this restaurant for our first night in Belgrade. Not so far from the center (15-20 mins walking) you can reach it easily with or without car. The entire menu is typical, you can choose among a lot of Serbian meals proposal. Very suggested the forest chicken. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and everybody speaks English. This is the perfect place for your Serbian dinner!

Great food, terrible service. There was no one in at 8pm and yet they had a telly AND radio blaring in the background. The food was delicious but the lack of ambience and the stupidly slow service makes me think it wasn’t worth the trip. The waiter must have walked past our table 3 times and still left our plates sitting on them when we’d finished. I then had to go up to the bar to ask for the bill. I’d hate to see how they’d cope if they ever got more than 2 tables in at once.

A wonderful local restaurant for traditional Bulgarian cuisine. The atmosphere itself is so nice, sitting right within a park, the terrace looks out over into the green park, with tables covered in tablecloth, such a beautiful location. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly, with excellent English if you are visiting as a foreigner. We tried the Karađorđeva šnicla and it was possibly the best food we've eaten in Serbia! It was packed full of kajmak and prepared fresh to order, which can be rare these days. The quality of the meat and ingredients really shone through. This is the perfect place to try some local cuisine, while also relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere of a traditional restaurant in Serbia. Highly recommended for anyone coming to the city. Don't forget to try some of the local Serbian wine!! We wish we were here longer to visit again we enjoyed it so much!

Great atmosphere, welcoming and friendly service, and most importantly an absolutely incredible Serbian meal. The venison stew is a must-try: the meat was so tender it falls apart as you chew and the potato dumplings were perfect. Some of the best stew I’ve ever had!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner in this traditional looking restaurant in residential area of Belgrade neighbourhood Dorcol. I wish I remember the name of the waiter who served us, he was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was tasty and prices were decent. Overall great place, we will definitely go back next time we are in Belgrade! Highly recommended!
