Have been twice there during our stay in Belgrade. It is the best place to have some wine and hot meals while you are walking around the Kalmegdan fortress and park. Prepare yourself for large generous serving sizes.
The original homemade cheesecake with raspberry dressing...is a must for every sweet tooth.More
Set in the beautiful park of Kalemegdan. Was so good the first time we had lunch here we insisted on going back next day. Great variety of food and wines to choose from friendly waiters. They really care about the quality of the food. They also do a...delicious pie with fruits.More
In a very good location - at the entrance of the Castle worth a visit for any tourist - but with "anti-tourist" service and moderate food. Moderate to classic Karadjordjeva Snicla dish. I'd give it a second chance anyway, because I'll be back to Belgrade...which is amazingly friendly, especially for the GreeksMore

The waiters didn't pay any attention for long time, so we had to call them. Finally a waiter got our table, just to offer the worst service we've ever seen. No attention, simple but very annoying mistakes like bringing only one fork and knife for...both. I had to go to the bar and require explicitly a fork for me, after several attempts to call the waiter. Bad attitude and quite visible difference in serving foreigners (like us) versa serving locals (normal attitude and attention).More
We stopped at the Mali ces Kalemegdan during our visit to the Belgrade fortress. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. We sat at one of the outside tables as the weather was very nice. The restaurant specializes in Serbian food. We tried cheese pies...and the national soup creamy veal. Although the soup was more oily than creamy, it was very good. The cheese pie with home made sour cream was outstanding. Nice place to stop, have a drink or snack an rest. Prices were very reasonable.More
We visited this restaurant on July 1st as a group. We were given the offer in advance and it was supposed to include the following for 15 EUR: soup, Kalemegdanska daska for two (tray with various grilled meat), salad and dessert. Upon the arrival, we...were given what we ordered. However, we were seated at a table for 4, but were given only one tray of meat for 2. Thus, each person paid a proper sum of money (15 EUR), but was not served the proportionate amount of meat (only one piece of chicken, a lot of sausages). In addition, the quality of food was really poor. In the end, the whole experience was rather disappointing.More
