This is definitely a pleasent reveal for me. Cosy restaurant, out of city and street noise.l, with an amazing and family atmosphere. We loved chatting with the owners, who trully knows and loves greek style of cuisine that their restaurant is representing. You can have all the information about the menu, and feel free to ask for recommendation. We tried small dishes - and they were great. Music is discreet, so you can come here to enjoy your friends and chat. Thursday, friday and saturday evening they have live music- mostly jazz. We really enjoyed it. Thank you ‘Dvoriste’ for a warm hospitality.

Excellent food, worth the money, but still some way to go

Visited Mezestoran Dvoriste today with my family for the first time. To begin with, the food is excellent, by which I mean it is a fairly recognizable (east) Mediterranean type of cuisine brought to a fairly high standard. In my view not creative/inventive enough, but tasty nevertheless all the way through. We took gnocchi, kebab plus an veg aubergine dish, all very good. Indoor smoking is something the management should reconsider as it spoiled our experience today - not only did we come with a child, but forcing someone to eat in a room full of smoke (and pay for it), without providing any viable alternative, is just a wrong thing to do. Finally, we could hear the waiting staff swearing profusely from the bar area; a touch of local charm for someone maybe, but I didn't enjoy it. So, we had a great food, yes, it's worth every penny, but overall, as a restaurant experience, there's quite a few details still left to be done.

Amazing food

Led by the positive reviews, we found this restaurant on the ground floor of a nondescript, grey concrete apartment building. Even though it was a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was fully booked and we were lucky to be allocated a table for 1 hour. The meals we ordered were terrific! Our salmon risotto and sea bass with aglio e olio fettuccini was cooked to perfection! It was also very reasonably priced! This is highly recommended!!

Unfortunately NOT a Michelin Star from us

We were so excited to finally reserve a table at the restaurant. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a sweet waitress who brought out drinks. We ordered many different dishes and when it came out, we realized it was just too much food. I cant believe that not a single waiter consulted and said that was going to be too much food. Personally, that is not good customer service. In addition, when two dishes came out (with tzatziki) we found a huge piece of plastic in it. We called the waiter and told him what we found and asked him to go and tell the kitchen chef. He automatically asked if we found the plastic in tzaziki?! We hoped that someone would come over to apologize but nothing happened. Common curtesy would have been for a chef to come out and apologize. But nothing! So, the summary of this that the food is ok, their customer service is below average, especially if you are serving someone who themselves run restaurants and a hotel!

Almost baptiste celebration of my daughter

Food is delicious but if you want to get served and appreciated, avoid phone reservations or go somewhere else. I booked table for 11 people (5 grownups, 2 teenagers and 4 kids). Than I was asked to choose between 3 menus (8+ guests are required to do so - wasn’t like that before). I tried to explain that 2 teenagers were their guests couple of days ago and that they prefers to decide what should they eat at restaurant as they didn’t liked their offers, but lady Maria insisted that we all need to decide in advance. I expected more flexibility and after couple of emails exchanged we decided to go somewhere else. Plenty other restoran that will gladly take our money in the city. Advice for mgmt: choose your personal wisely. Dejan

What a lovey meal

We were making our first visit to Belgrade and decided to eat here on our first night as the reviews were very good and seemed to have a quite varied menu. It’s not situated directly on a street so you have to look for its sign at the entrance to an open corridor on the street - Google maps will get you there! The restaurant is in a few different sections including some tables outside - we were in the conservatory. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. English menus were available and had a good selection of dishes - mainly Greek and Italian. Most of the starters were prepared as a sharing dish which was perfect for us - we had the Bruschetta, chicken salad and tzatziki all of which were excellent - so fresh and tasty. For our main course we both chose the kebab which came on a flatbread with salad. The kebabs themselves had been cooked perfectly with good flavour. We decided not to have a dessert. With 2 alcoholic drinks each we thought that the price of £60 for the 2 of us was very reasonable. Overall a great dinner and happy to recommend if you enjoy Mediterranean food.

Great Mediterranean Food

I'm in Belgrade for a month and my landlord highly recommended this restaurant. The food and service are both outstanding. I had bruschetta with grilled eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese and a chicken salad for lunch. Both were fresh and delicious, so I'll be returning for sure. The olive oil from Crete was so good I bought a small bottle!

Real Mediterranean Vibes

Wonderful, authentic Mediterranean restaurant with a great ambiance! I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant today and was blown away with the quality of the food and service. Everything I tried, from the tasty appetizers to the mains and delicious deserts, was truly top tier dining. The tsaziki is incredible! It's definitely one of the best restaurants in Belgrade and I can't wait to visit during the warmer months of the year. Highly recommended! 🙌🏼

Poor Management

It is obvious that this restaurant is poorly managed! How to explain otherwise, that on the day in which you reserved dinner, restaurant staff calls you to reschedule your dinner, and limit your dinning time because they are trying to squize as much guests as they can? It is highly unprofessional and that feeling of being undervalued customer was predominant... We were almost denied to being served the dessert because, according to them our dinner time was over. We did have a great time, but we could have it even if we were sitting in the park. We didn't need a reserved table for limited time for that.

Disappointing Dining Experience

The croutons in the Cretan salad were very hard, and the cucumbers were not peeled, resulting in an unpleasant taste. The shrimp pasta was also underwhelming, as both the shrimp and the sauce lacked flavor. Additionally, the squid was rubbery, making the overall meal less enjoyable.

Mediterranean in the middle of Belgrade

Hidden from the views from the streets of Belgrade, Mezestoran enchanted us with its warmth and offer. The ratio between quality and price is more than excellent. Everything that was on our table definitely deserved a +5 rating, be it an appetizer, main course, dessert or wine. They definitely deserved a Michelin recommendation. We'll be back. Fantastic ambiance

Gorgeous setting with straightforward service and a convivial ambiance. We shared a number of tapas and mains amongst the group, and all were very fresh and flavorful. Some of the favourites included beetroot with walnuts, blue cheese salad, and roasted eggplant.

Bit hidden but highly recommendable spot

Very recommendable place. Selection of wine is good with some serbian ones. We had the Teraza Chardonnay. Main dishes include pasta, risotto, fish and meat. Istrian beef stew (tender beef) with pasta was very yummy. Also Panna cotta as dessert is a must-have.

Waitress made the experience memorable

In a hidden corner of Belgrade, the lovely looking restaurant definitely exceeds expectations. The customer service was amazing. The waitress was very friendly and gave us a great welcome to the Balkans. Spoke with us about the area and dishes with a lot of passion. The food was also wonderful, I particularly recommend the risotto, as well as the eggplant dish and kebabs. Would definitely go back and recommend.
