I had dinner with two of my colleagues. We ordered grilled octopus to start with and a Whole Dentex. Everything was cooked to perfect. Dentex is a tricky fish as it can go bone dry whilst grilling. But it was so moist and tender. Highly...recommended. The only down side is that some one needs todo something about the construction next to the restaurant. Not a good experience for eyes.More

I have eaten at thousands of restaurants throughout the world and I would rank this as one of my best experiences I have had, ever, even over Michelin ranked restaurants. The restaurant space is beautiful and charming. The service was virtually perfect. Our waiter, Nenap,...that I would have thought he was the owner because of his passion, knowledge and obvious experience, was incredible. He knew the entire wine list, which was fairly extensive, including a non-vintage Krug Champagne, which was tempting, and where all the Balkan wines came from and what made them special. When we told him we wanted to drink only Serbian wines - to have that experience, he created a blind taste of three rose wines at first because we wanted that with our planned fish meals. While they were good, none of them dazzled us. But generously and with a great attitude, he did the same with three white wines, which we wanted one that was Sancerrish, and he did a great job with his three choices, one which we selected and it was fantastic. Our waiter was willing to make us anything because we wanted to know what the restaurant thought was best. I had an amazing octopus salad that seemed like it just came from the sea and the garden. We also enjoyed a almond crusted filet of fish, another salad that was legendary, and squid. I told the waiter that I really liked Chardonnay, more in passing, and he brought me a glass, which was excellent. And we tried a excellent slivovica to finish our meal. At the end of our perfect evening, our bill was presented to us and it was as much a pleasant surprise as the dinner. In U.S. dollars, we paid less than $100, which is difficult to do at even a casual restaurant in California.More

We have been at the restaurant many times and each time is a thrill. All kinds of fish are fresh and superb prepared. Last time we had the sole with melted polenta, probably the best fish dish I have ever tasted! The waiters are very...nice and they are there when you need them.
