Travelers' Choice
A chain of ethno restaurants Zavicaj is reflected in ethno decor which is creating tempting atmosphere for those who want to experience this authentic ambient. Plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery are made of pottery. Beer is served in mugs made of clay, and traditional drink called ,,rakija" is served in so called "čokančić" that is actually unique type of a small traditional bottle. If you just take a look of the interior you can see decorated coffee pots on wooden shelves, very old coffee mills and irons and similar details. The parts of Serbian costume and heritage are hanging on the walls. You are going to be attracted with interesting beautiful pieces of Serbian folk art like. Plaid tablecloth

Warm, pleasant atmosphere, very professional staff, quality as high as it gets, the same since at least 2014. The highlights of the menu include the veal soup, the pljeskavica and sopska and grilled peppers salads. This is an outstanding restaurant that offers a great traditional...Serbian experience. Value for money is 10/10.More

Chain with some restaurants in Belgrad, offering Serbian food. Tasty grilled meat, big portions and good prices. Pork skewers and smoked pork neck are delicious.

If you are from Balkans you won't be amazed, and this Is not the best place for you. However, if you are a foreigner this is a nice place to experience Balkan cuisine and good rakia. Prices are affordable and portions are pretty big. ps....service could be much better.More

We found the restaurant on Tripadvisor and it’s an excellent restaurant serving typical traditional Serbian food in a traditional style setting! It’s off the beaten track about a quarter mile from the Bohemian quarter of Skadarlija ! It’s not so commercial or tourist trap focused...frequented mainly by locals always a good sign ! The food was delicious we visited 3 nights out of 4 the other night we did Skadarlija ! The schnitzel was crisp and succulent a perfect schnitzel! Portions were generous the tripe starter was delicious plenty of garlic! Prices for 3 courses for 4 adults with 2 to 3 beers each from £65 to £81 reasonably priced for the high quality food and large portions! Service was friendly and professional my 7 year old insisted he had his birthday meal there they did a cake with candles ! This restaurant is well worth a visit!More
