A new take on traditional food

We have been to the New Reset restaurant a couple of times recently and enjoyed our visits very much. The restaurant is located in a little old house in the lively Dorcol area of Belgrade (more "authentic" than the nearby Skadarlija). The entrance is round the side and the restaurant is on two floors up some quite steep stairs. The garden must be pleasant in the summer. The food was excellent. The meals we had were largely traditional dishes with an inventive twist. We would recommend in particular the sausages in a grape sauce and the pork fillet. The veal rib was huge and would be enough for two people to share. On one occasion we had a mixed starter which was an interesting combination of cold meats and cheese. The decor was quirky and gave the place a cosy feel (but they really ought to take down some left-over Christmas decorations!) The waiters who served us were pleasant and helpful, though service was a little slow. The restaurant is more expensive than many others in the area, but we still felt it was good value. Despite the website and other publicity, it appears that they do not currently offer live music. I have no idea what the name of the restaurant means!

Very pleasant surprisein the center of Belgrade

Let me start off by saying that in general, I always eat very well in Belgrade. This restaurant, however, served exquisite food on a late Friday afternoon lunch on their very pleasant terrace that was spectacular. The hostess, Nina, was a pleasure to speak with. Her English is perfect, as were her food choices. Very good cold cucumber soup starter followed by a perfectly cooked as I requested (rare) filet mignon covered with a delicious pistacio sauce she recommended. The quality food is very fairly priced. A bit more expensive overall than traditional Belgrade fare, but that was due to the wine choice. The quality of the food and service makes it worth it, though. Will definitely repeat. Good music as well.

A total different environment in Belgrade

We got here quite by mistake strolling around the area and decided to try the place. The hostess was amazing, the place takes you to a small restaurant in France, the menu, toilets, place has many details & is very inviting. Food was really amazing, served beautifully and gave a different touch to the Sebian food. The hostess was great, explaining everything, and very warm & welcoming. We had the steak in pomegranate, veal in milk & beefsteak with mushrooms. For starters we had the chicken liver in apples & brandy, and sweet pork dish. All were happy! Very much recommended & great price. A place to dine and enjoy the atmosphere ❤️ I’ve submitted pictures, see for yourself! We were 5 people, with 2 kids 5 yo, and the place was excellent even with the kids!

An amazing find

Wanted to try something new in Belgrade and New Reset perfectly delievered. The place is very cozy, warm with very pleasant staff. It really show that they enjoy serving and presenting their original dishes. I seriously recommend sexy pies, havent tried something so simple, original and tasty in a long while. Also, the watermelon carppacio and king prawn main course were excellent. Can't wait to comeback and share this place with more friends :)

Great food and atmosphere

We stopped by at 7 on a Saturday evening with no reservation. Fortunately they had space before a 9pm reservation and accommodated us. Great mixed appetizer plate for 2, steak in pomegranate sauce and steak in pear sauce. Steaks were cooked perfect and very tender. No complaints!

Get ready to be amazed

Not your typical restoraunt. It's situated in old town house in city centre just 5-10 min walking from main square. Place is small, rustic and authentic. Menu is diverse: they offer lamb, pork, veil, fish and chicken dishes. I strongly recommend Dorcol soup for starters. It really feels like soup your grandmother used to cook. It's fenomenal. I had steak (medium) with reduced balsamico and wine sauce. The portion was quite hefty. Steak was the size of a closed fist. It was delicius and juicy. Staff is friendly, non-intrusive and helpfull. I suggest you book seats via their web page. You'll find menu there as well. You won't regret eating in this hidden Belgrade gem.

Looking for a mix of local Serbian cuisine with French ambience... check out New Reset! I loved the atmosphere, the music, and the hostess who made this unique and wonderful experience also feel like we were home. Also felt like I in France... it was magical!

Hidden Treasure

I was very lucky to be taken to this restaurant it is a hidden gem, great and it's rustic climate, great atmosphere outstanding cuisine best streak I have ever had (I've had a few) . The Nina was very friendly and helpful too, took her time to help us choose the right meal and wine. Even packed me a dessert to take back to my partner :) I would most definitely go back when I visit Serbia again

New Reset, New Energy, New tastes

We had great time in New Reset, felt the wonderful energy and kindness of the staff. Everything from veal soup to ramsteak and veal ribs to dessert was soooo delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Located in an old home in a lovely part of Belgrade, but otherwise quite unremarkable. Service was excellent, but the food average at best. It styles itself as French-Serbian, but is an amalgam of every but. In a city filled with great food, you can safely give this one a miss. Unfortunately.

Best steak I’ve ever had!

Charming, little restaurant. There’s a relaxing vibe there outside in the courtyard. The steak was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Not even joking! It was 300 grams of pure pleasure haha. I had mine with red wine sauce whilst my girlfriend had hers with a forest fruits sauce (a trademark of the restaurant). 100% don’t miss this place if you like steak.

Fantastic Experience

We found this restaurant by chance because some other restaurants in the area were full. The Restaurant is in a former living house and has two floors. All very nicely decorated and cozy. The waitress was very nice and explained all their specialties in a thorough way. We had the steak with Pomegranate sauce and a steak with pears. Both were cooked to the point and very delicious. This was a absolute experience in terms of food and ambiente. We will definitely come again!

Beautiful evening - thank you!

Enjoyed a splendid dinner in the quiet and charming restaurant courtyard. All flavors sang and the compositions spoke to the artistry of the chef. The veal rib was a revelation - perfectly tender, suffused with flavor - as was Serbian wine varietal Prokupac. We also particularly enjoyed chicken liver mouse with grapes and ribeye with pear sauce. If we're ever back in Belgrade, we would no doubt return!

went here for dinner, both food and service were absolutely amazing. very high quality dishes that are a mixture of serbian and french cuisine. also a great variety of wines to choose from. absolutely would recommend to anyone coming for an endulgent meal
