Italian-French cuisine restaurant Casa Nova is located in the heart of Belgrade, in Dorćol district, the old city neighborhood known for its multicultural atmosphere. Our offer includes steaks, burgers, salads, pastas, chicken, turkey, seafood and fish... by the recipes of Italian and French cuisine. Casa Nova recommends the house specialty, the "Sicilian Wheel." For an aperitif we have a local brandy (Rakija in Serbian) quince, apricot, plum and raspberry. Additionally, the wine list contains a large variety of local, Italian, French, Argentine, Chilean and Australian wines. Gentle Italian sounds will reach to you imperceptibly and make your time more enjoyable. You can relinquish yourself to our friendly staff, whose recommendations will take you on an exciting culinary journey.

This may be the last fine restaurant in Belgrade that is pleasantly quiet, without background music. Nonsmokers and smokers have separate rooms. Good menu, short but adequate wine list, superb service. I brought two women, foreigners who like Belgrade. One of them asked for beef cooked to medium, but received it fully cooked. Without complaining, she received a replacement although the hour was late, and kitchen was almost closed. Our party was the last to leave. The staff not only refrained from prodding us, but gave a small, appropriate gift to this woman.

Been recommended of this restaurant even before leaving Israel, and turned out recommendations were accurate! Throughout my stay in Belgrade I’ve visited this place 3 times!!! Let’s start with the excellent staff, especially geko the waiter (hope I’m spelling it right..), very kind, efficient, welcoming and friendly. The place itself is designed nicely, the toilets are a must (men & female, not gonna post pics, wanna keep the surprise!!). Started with Aperol Spritz & bruscatta, and in the 3 times ordered all the meat on the menu. The beefsteak in truffels is a must, and the one in green peppers too! Italian & meat made to perfection, and the price is the biggest surprise! Was twice with 5 yo kids who enjoyed the pastas and couldn’t stop eating. The beef steak is cut to perfection, in the way you order it, mine was medium rare as ordered, with a pile of potatoes underneath & onion rings on top! Definitely recommended in all aspects!

Casa Nova is the most perfect Italian restaurant in Dorcol, Belgrade for a long lazy lunch with a great ambience and vibe.
A beautiful garden dining area separating you from the street, surrounded by clean manicured hedges.
The staff are so much fun and we loved the banter throughout the afternoon.
The menu will keep you busy for days, very flexible and plates of pasta are offered with your favourite pasta style.
Our entree of beef prosciutto with goat cheese sprinkled with walnuts and olives was divine.
Garlic bread is served lightly toasted with a dash of spices. The delicious ravioli pasta was coloured made using fresh vegetables, cooked al dente.
The steaks were on another level, succulent, high-quality and cooked to perfection.
Our meal ended with a nice surprise from our lovely waiter, it was the perfect way to finish the most fabulous long lazy lunch.
Casa Nova would be stunning for an evening dinner and for those special date nights with someone special.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Belgrade, food is very delicious, atmosphere is highly pleasant and staff is kind and polite. Casa Nova is for every recommendation whether you come with friends, family or business partners. If you come, you will not make a mistake!

I found this on trip advisor and the choice was excellent. I eat a very good beef steak with onion rings, potato cooked in wine reduction. My wife ate some shrimp pasta. Very friendly staff,nice atmosphere,good position.

Was cruising the neighborhood of this restaurant at lunchtime for 45 min. to await a delayed opening.
Waiter quickly apologized and explained with ‘briefing the staff’ which I personally appreciate.
Tried a selection of wines by the glass to accommodate the food. Wine list is extensive.
Menu is vast and diverse. It would take about several weeks to try everything.
My veal carpaccio (RSD 1.750,-) was fine, pretty small quantity regarding beef compared to price. Really a lot of rucola; maybe spare a bit next time.
Pasta with beef (tagliatelle, RSD 780,-) was absolutely perfect. Al dente and tasteful.
Crepes zusette was well prepared with orange and Grand Marnier. A happy ending (no pun intended).
All in all a place I would very much like to visit again but with a different starter than the veal carpaccio which otherwise generally is a personal favorite.

One of the best steaks (maybe the best) I ever had was on friday night in Casa Nova restaurant. Me and my wife visited restaurant on february 14th. She had pasta with smoked salmon, prawns and broccoli and I had truffle steak(I will definately eat it again!). Everything was just perfect. Special thanks to our waiter Strahinja!

We had a great meal here. Delicious carrot soup and cheesy garlic bread on a cold night was perfect. Fun presentation on my husbands chicken with potatoes and onion rings! Wonderful selection of Serbian wine! Non smoking section upstairs was very smoke free.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant and their service was so polite to us, especially our waiter Zeljko. Food was amazing, we had chicken rolls in a 4 cheese and rib eye steak (the best I ever had) and some wine of course. :)
We fully recommend this place to everyone!

I visited Casa Nova on my first night in Belgrade. I was pretty tired from the trip and went to the closest restaurant to my hotel. It was a great choice!
I ordered a Bruschetta as a starter which was fresh and tasty. The highlight however was the main course. The meat was cooked to perfection and the sauce was top notch as well.
I only ordered a single beer, but the waiter kept offering me beers and shots on the house. By the time I left, I was already a little tipsy. Thanks so much for welcoming me to Serbia this way.
The only problem I had was that smoking was allowed indoors, but I later found out that this is the standard for all restaurants in Belgrade.

This restaurant we have been twice.
1 st time was 5 years ago the food was okey but this time we have experienced the worst food and dining ever. The pastas were awful and not tastefull at all the menu was minimized.The service was not friendly besides the price werenot worth the quality of menu.

What a delightful restaurant. Great ambience, great food and a really rich selection of Serbian wine. The service is truly one of the best that I have experienced. Try the Bruschetta, the spaghetti arabiatta, the Beef tartar.. they are all uniformly good. However, the chef seems to have picked up the recipe for the minestrone from a hospital.
We were served by Aljosa who is by far one the most informed, knowledgeable and and entertaining waiters that I have met..
if you are in Belgrade, must try out Casa Nova.

Excellent restaurant. Delicious and fresh Italian food. Menus with different languages, we used the menu in Hebrew. Amazing service by the waiter, Pedga. Kind, smiling, polite. A real dream. Some of the diners on the floor have returned to the restaurant for the second time since most of them enjoyed.
Second floor is for non-smoking.
Green salad with a refreshing melon, grilled salmon with very high quality vegetables. Good wine, precise final dishes, creme brulee and tiramisu are very delicate. We got a feeling of home. It is highly recommended. For couples, families with children and friends.

The first visit was so good, I had to visit again. The first dish I chose was pasta which was superb. The second visit I chose a steak dish which was absolutely divine. Really relaxing restaurant staff are really helpful for good knowledge about each dish. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re visiting Belgrade. I will definitely visit again.

We had a very nice meal here today, waiters were friendly place restaurant is lovely and a large 'no smoking' area upstairs (from the smoking area.
Food is nice but I do not understand some of the reviews about 'best food ever' or 'out of this world' etc.
Portions on mains are fine and the prices are pretty good for the quality and surroundings.
I had soup and then chicken in curry sauce and really enjoyed it. Little bit of spice from the potatoes and a fruity sauce with clove, cinnamon flavour. My friend had lasagna and the portion was large and he said very tasty.
Large selection of dishes from standard burgers to roast duck and very nice steaks.
