Inspired by the Golden Age of bartending, Riddle Bar creates original cocktails while serving forgotten classic cocktails from the Golden Age and Prohibition eras. We were delighted to have discovered Riddle Bar the first night we were in Belgrade and we we there every evening while we were in the city . Cocktails are great and so are the people there!! Every drink is prepared with passion and you can feel that every time .... We had a great time and will look forward to be there !! Thanks to the team for the great time we had there !
I would recommend to call and make a reservation as it’s usually fully booked

This is probably one of the best places I've visited in Belgrade. The stuff here is beyond amazing and polite, they will explain to you in detail the process of making cocktails which are, by the way, really unique and tasty! For example, they have beer-cucumber cocktail which is my favourite <3
The prices are affordable and comparing to the other Belgrade's places that serve coctails, the service and quality is much much higher.
I sincerily recommend this place, you won't be dissapointed!

The most important thing to remember is to book in advance, as the bar is booked up quickly. It's rather difficult to drop in spontaneously.
But it's totally worth it. The team is phenomenal and the cocktails are created individually. You just say the cocktails or the flavours you like and then the team mixes a cocktail. So you don't get standard here - which is good :)
The prices are also totally fair -> 6-8 euros per cocktail.
We were there (09.10) and unfortunately didn't book in advance and only got a seat at the bar for two hours. Unfortunately, the place was reserved afterwards, because we would have liked to stay longer. But we enjoyed the time very much!
The only disadvantage is that smoking is allowed in the bar, which not everyone likes or knows from Germany.

Took my girlfriend here for an evening cocktail. We were immediately greeted by Riddle Bar's host who was both knowledgeable and charming. After explaining what sort of flavors/liquors we like, we were served our cocktails. The inside seating is where one can see the drink mixing in action; however, the outside seating offers a beautiful view of the bohemian quarter, and as it was my first time in Skidsrlija, we chose the later. Our host served me an old fashioned-style drink with a Serbian flare, while my girlfriend was served a summertime watermelon-lemonade drink. Both were extraordinary cocktails, surpassing my already high expectations, and set the bar high for Belgrade's mixology scene. Ask for one of their signature cocktails, and you won't regret it.

Truly a unique bespoke cocktail bar where you share with the attentive and very talented mixologists your taste profile and let them take you on a journey perfectly designed for you.
Location is great, in the heart of the old town, but don't let this deter you. This is definitely no tourist trap; it is a local hotspot.
Perfect hideaway to enjoy your favourite bespoke cocktails and stay cool, especially on those hot summer afternoons.
On balmy days you can enjoy the beautifully furnished terrace, perfect for people watching.
The team are ever so observant to keep you hydrated with water, so you can keep on savouring each cocktail creation designed just for you.
Owned by a group of lads who have successfully created their passion project, they are all there to greet you and take the time to spend with you and share their stories. We personally thank the team for the warm welcome we have received on each visit.
For the adventurous, let them take you on a journey you will remember (or not, depending on how many cocktails you devour). They also handcraft their own ice!
Toilets are a real treat. As a female, you are gifted with hygiene products, and men's even have hair products to ensure the men are well-groomed.
We cannot recommend Riddle Bar highly enough if you are a cocktail connoisseur. You will not be disappointed.

First of all, let's be clear that this is not a restaurant. This is a cocktail bar, where you get drinks made to order. There is no menu and no price list. You tell the barkeeper what flavors you like and they will ask some supplementary questions to determine your taste and profile.
I had two amazing drinks and a nice conversation with the barkeeper. The prices are comparable to Western Europe and North America, but it is well worth it. I can highly recommend the Riddle Bar, for those who enjoy a stiff drink and arent afraid to try something new.

Probably the best bar I’ve ever been to.
Tucked away, with no sign and a doorbell to get in…it’s worth taking time to seek out.
Sit at the bar, describe the drinks or the mood you are in and in front of you will appear the cocktail you need. With flair and style the engaging bartenders will mix for you, with a bit of cocktail theatre a drink to delight your taste buds.
Their engaging conversation and the service from opening the door, to taking your coat, to mixing the drink, to remembering your name is how all good cocktail bars should be run.
This is the bar I could happily spend my cocktail drinking hours….and next time we’re In Belgrade we will be back to comfortably sit at the bar, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the music, the art of mixology and the company.
Thank you to Anthony, for his intriguing and interesting conversation…and of course of one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.

The bartender Lazar is really talented and his enthusiasm for making customers happy is astonishing. This is a non menu bar and no drinks is copied or from a recipe. His knowledge is awesome. All sours and sirups are homemade.

Professional, pleasant, comfortable, tasty, simply outstanding!
Profesional, well educated bartenders who treat you as a valuable customer, and/or a friend. Beautifully decorated, cozy place, with great music (one time funky / jazzy, other times 70'-80' rock classic). Cocktails are simple amazing, and very personal. There is no menu, rather you speak to staff and they see what should suite you the best. Make sure to reserve your place. If this was NY or London you'd have to reserve the table 2 years in advance (and pay in gold).

Best cocktail bar I’ve been in a while: you tell the staff what you feel like and they’ll surprise you with a custom-made cocktail. Top quality ingredients and excellent barmen, creative, knowledgeable, attentive but not overbearing. And they give you plenty of water so the next morning so you won’t regret it 😅

Probably the best cocktails we've ever had. We sat at the bar and the mixologist did a great job in making something to our preferences, in addition to being really entertaining to actually watch him making the cocktails!
Given the time, effort and quality I wouldn't consider this expensive compared to what you might expect for the same standard in some other European cities.
Would definitely recommend.

The crew at Riddle Bar take their mixology very seriously and it’s one of the best cocktail bars I’ve been to globally. What makes them different from the others is the energy of the staff and the vibe they project with live music and entertainment. They’re not pretentious because they know their craft and once you have a drink you’ll understand why sometimes it takes 10 minutes to make a proper cocktail.
