Nice Restaurant in Belgrade

The restaurant is located by the river side location called " Beton Hall". They serve mainly meat dishes and has a vide collection of wines . But try mixed meat dish and drink local drink rakija. Tey also have live music after 10 30 pm. THe prices are above the belgrade standards but has a very nice interior design and the customer portfolio is high class. The average price for 4 people will be between 100-150 Euros depending on how much you eat and drink.

Temperament Restoran is a slick and modern restaurant located on the famous Savamala esplanade. A host of restaurants along the esplanade in Beton Hala (Concrete Hall), on the riverfront of river Sava. The modern interior is impressive, with a great outdoor seating area, comfortable cushion chairs and heating. Very authentic fresh quality Balkan food, extensive menu and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a fresh and light risotto, followed by the most succulent lamb. Extensive wine list. Take the time to peruse the list as we found some hidden Serbian gems. They also have a beautiful wine wall display inside the restaurant. When visiting the restrooms, you are also spoilt with a luxurious waiting area, a nice touch. Take the effort with the staff, you will be rewarded. A simple hello and thank you in Serbian always rewards you with warm and friendly service. Temperament is frequented by the locals, which is always a positive sign you have chosen the right place, and we were not disappointed.

Temperament gives you a breathtaking view and tasteful food. The interior is very cosy and outstanding. The background music is soothing and fits the place perfectly. Friendly, polite staff is always there to welcome you. Temperament is the ideal restaurant for a cosy, romantic dinner.

We were looking forward to eating there, a very nice location. However, the experience consisted of waiting. The waiter was very unfriendly and ignored us several times until we could order drinks. He remained unfriendly. After another very long wait, we wanted to order lunch at around 1pm, but this was not possible. However, the gentleman was unable to explain that breakfast could be adjusted. So we paid for ourselves. We were told that there was a problem with the kitchen - but other visitors had just received breakfast.

We waited more than an hour to have our food orders taken(we were given a beverage menu as we came and ordered that instantly). As i ordered a second round of drinks(1 glass of wine and a bottle of water), the waiter mistakenly brought both a bottle of wine and a bottle of water, which is fine, i addressed the issue, he took the water back(with making a comment about what i said while ordering)to exchange it for a glass, which was also a mistake, but wouldnt really bother me, since it was a noisy environment. I approached him at the bar and explained, that there must have been another misunderstanding, and his response was “are you f*cking with me”. His demeanour didn’t change for the remainder of the evening. The food was good, but it doesn’t outweigh the way one waiter ruins your experience. Also the band played more than an hour late, as per advertised.

Easily THE rudest staff in Belgrade. Went to a birthday dinner of my younger friend (a year younger, might I add), and experienced the worst management, hostess and security ever. The hostess and manager looked at me and said that, even though I was one of the older people from the group of almost twenty people, looked too young and they wouldn't let me in. After 15 minutes, when the birthday girl asked for the check to leave the place, they started apologizing and let me in, and begged her to stay. With ease, the entire night was ruined due to the extreme embarrassment and humiliation we all experienced. Unacceptable behavior, largely due to the fact that the reservation and agreement for the birthday was made weeks in advance, and our third year in a row coming to the same place. I sincerely hope that the owner would consider changing their management as soon as possible, because this behavior was out of line by a mile. Nobody should ever get publicly humiliated by staff of a restaurant to which as a consumer, would end up paying a great deal of money. Embarrassing.

We booked a table for two for our friends through Instagram, and reconfirmed it by calling - we even asked whether any deposit was needed - the hostess said we only needed our reservation and everything was in order. When the guests came, the restaurant said our reservation was in order, but there were no free tables - they just ushered them to the bar and that’s it. We did complain about it on Instagram, but the restaurant simply ignored our message and did not even say sorry.

A horrible experience in Belgrade.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:40 p.m. and we made an reservation this morning. The hostess didn’t tell us anything we need to pay attention to. While. When we arrive at the restaurant. They refused us to go inside because of our suits. So we have to sit outside. We asked for three spirts first. While, nobody came to us in thirty minutes. And we ordered three main dishes includes smoked pork, lamb and turkey. They didn’t even serve the turkey when we finished the dinner. By the way, there are two girls sat next to us, they went inside for ordering the dishes, while, nobody answered them in ten minutes, then they just went away. I don’t know what kind of service it is. I just know it was a terrible experience for us.

Every time I would visit Belgrade (3 times per year) I would always go to Temperament. Before it was always great and friendly staff. Now I came to arrange my weddingday and made a reservation 2 weeks before and when I came to the restaurant. The hostesses were sitting on a table like they were having drinks in stead of working. So I came with a smile happy to be back, when they said to me I can sit outside... The temperature was 10 degrees. I asked: I made a reservation 2 weeks ago how is it possible giving me a table on the terrace. It was because of the plan and on saturday you can never guarantee if you are sitting inside. Meanwhile people were coming, 70 maybe and they were seated inside even without reservation. I was not very pleased because of the way this happened. We were practically the only people eating outside. I came to this place because of the live music... The hostesses could not care less. Even the manager did not care at all. He said it was too late now. After that a person came without reservation and asked for a table, the manager said: of course. The summary of this evening was that I was very mad that they ruined my night. I hope the manager and the hostesses get changed because they give a bad look to Belgrade. There are so many places where the staff are super friendly.... But temperament is only friendly for the locals who are there every week. Not to mention that the prices were higher than on the menu and the waiter said: that's because it's after 8. But we came after eight so why didnt you give us the right menu if there are higher prices

The manager need to go on a course hospitality and customer service management. I don’t now where they find this guy . Think twice if you want to visit this restaurant . They send us away because someone had a tshirt on …. Ridiculous And it is not about declining us ! But the way they communicate! their loss !!! a lot’s of good restaurants in Belgrade Still love the city and the people !

We came from another country to visit, and all I can say is that I am very dissapointed. We booked a table few days before we came, and on that evening they offered us just a bar. Even though we were promised to get a table where we can sit, we got a bar and standing positions. Of course we left.

The bad and the ugly

Extremely slow service. Tasteless turkey salad. Prawns which taste like fish fingers. And on top of all, waiter bring us bottle of mineral water which we did not ordered. When i asked manager about that, he said let it be on the house. Of course it was not on the house. There are lot of places around where you can have everything perfect for that money.

We visited this restaurant recently. We ate cevapcici and they were superb. The service was fast, the waiter very genuine and the music appropriate to enjoy our dinner. The ambiance was warm , I love wood and stone. We will most definitely come here again. Thank you to everyone! We highly recommend this place.

Perfect view to the river Dunav and savamala. Food was okay for this price. Stuff is a little bit slow and their way for the reservations is bad. They have some issues if you asking for another table that is free. Always have some “invisible” reservations.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful place, good food, but pour service. We were sitting done with eating, but empty plates were in the table until the end. Bit more education for the staff Would recommended … for the rest is nice place with good cuisine…
