Restaurant of national cuisine. Very friendly staff. The food is excellent. The drinks are also excellent. It's not too expensive.

Whenever I want to order something, he behaves arrogantly... He lies with every single world he spoke...
Cozy atmosphere. Very close to Republic Square. They serve mostly grilled pork and chicken. Red house wine was amazing for me. Prices are reasonable. You can smoke inside but there is a good vantilation.
Lovely restaurant in Belgrade you can have authentic Balkan food. The service was very efficient I had a mature waiter he was very nice teaching me some Slavic words his English was very fluent. They have some nice homemade bread, and the salads are very...fresh. The drinks taste very natural specially the lemonade. I ordered some domestic coffee was delicious..The meat comes in a generous portions. The potatoes are exquisite. You have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy some fresh air. The toilets were cleanMore
Amazing stuff and food. It's very easy to find this restaurant if you are near center, and if you are looking for good and well served homemade food, pleasent waiter and ok prices, I recomend this place.
I was there a couple of times, food is good and portions are more than decent. Prices are ok, veal is excelent. If i am near and i want to sit and have a meal, this is one of my to go places.
Grmec Restaurant (or Грмеч Песторан, in Serbian language) is a traditional restaurant located in the center of Belgrade, the main city in Serbia. We came here on our last day in the country, and we decided to taste some traditional dishes like Serbian Salad, meat...and cabbage rolls and a baklava. also I drank a local red wine. All was very good and the restaurant is a comfortable place.More
Went there after asking my host where do I feel where locals feel home? Traditional dishes where only the taste matters and that taste simply is a must to experience. Simplicity at its best. Simple salads are so tasty that I thought about becoming a...vegan... At least during the week. A green leaf or cabbage salad balances perfectly its oil, Vinegar and salt content and mat he's these traditional grilled meats. And the prices are more than correct. Lunch was so convincingly right to be enjoyed there that I will try a few dishes in the evening again before a late night sushi dinner meeting.More
Interesting atmosphere, walls full of old photos of famous actors who were regular guests in the 20th century. Rich menu, typical Serbian food, very good. Staff was extremely friendly.
If you are interested how the typical restaurants in Belgrade were looking in the period of last decades of 20 century this is a right place. Interior didn't change much since that time, but what made this place famous back then is a very good...kitchen which stayed very good indeed. That is the reason of many prominent guests who were visiting this place in the last 40 years (journalists, actors, politicians...) Before year 2000 many of the restaurants in the Serbian capital had these characteristics but they have all disappeared .To recommend are Muckalica (pork stew) and paprika in sour cream. You cannot make a mistake if you order some of the local grill dishes as well. Prices are very moderate so everything is worth of trying.More
Went to this restaurant after a tip from a local guide. We were not disappointed, the food was great. We also got some menu suggestions from the local guide and ordered some traditional Serbian dishes. My wife had the pork meat wrapped in bacon and...I had the pork meat rolled with cheese into a long "sausage". Both dishes are very tasty.More
A restaurant like many in Belgrade. All of them are serving the same style of Serbian food, but this one seems to be more frequented by locals. Food quality is good enough but nothing really special. Service provided by the staff was friendly and correct....It's a bit expensive for what you get but for a quick bite it's fine.More
Food is amazing! Real serbian dishes and really big portions. I will come here again and again! I am amazed.
I went there for lunch and didnt regret it, my friend got a+ for recommending this place! Its traditional old looking place but charming. Waiters were also charming, funny but very relaxed. Food was brutal, everything was fantastic! My gf and I had beef soup...each, for mains she had local Mućkalica and I had delicious and perfectly cooked veal (0.3kg) with potatoes, we also had tomatoes, bread, beer and big bottle of water for just 20 euros!!! How is that even possible?! I can fully recommend this place!More
Thanks to its central location, just meters form the building of Radio Belgrade, the restaurant is frequently full. In addition to all traditional grills, which can be found in any Serbian restaurant, the speciality is lamb cooked in mil which is truly outstanding. Warmly recommended!
