I am a little surprised to see the bad experience of Nemanjal39. We went 3 friends 3 days ago, and I must say that my stroganoff was so very tastefully so I definitely will come back to have it again. The price for this cuality...1.150 is absolut ok. Teleci gkotelet sos sumskih.. was enormous for 1.250 and well tasted. Ribic u kajmaku smallerBut fine 670 Restaurant nearly empty and service okMore

To be honest i had high expectations, because the restaurant is in itself a name. First the approach to the restaurant is tough, because you have to pas through a tram station to get to it. The restaurant itself is pretty well decorated, but when...you gaze outside you see a football pitch and Belgrade's notorious jail. The service is AWFUL! I don't use caps, but this one deserves it. The prices are very high for a restaurant of such caliber, and as an added bonus, the waiters don't even bring a glass of water with coffee. Also, after mentioning to the waiter 4 times to pack the leftovers for a take out, he simply threw them away. Honestly I will never set foot in the place again, and will advise others to do the same.More

We were on a family lunch, took house specialty "lamb in milk" and burger with french fries for the kids. Prices went up, 10€ per portion of Lamb in milk and it was not fresh made, but rather just heated up. French fries were full...of oil but hard as a wood. The roof was broken, so the floors were wet due to the rain. Toilets were dirty, especialy toilet seats. New Year decoration was stil up and it is June. I am very sad because this was our fav place for more than 10 years. We will come back to give a second chance.More

We went to Sindjelic for a birthday lunch on a Saturday. Throughout the two hours, we were there, the restaurant was at most 1/3 occupied. FOOD 0/1 We had staple starters: veal soup, roasted peppers, roasted chillies, white cheese and kajmak, salads. Those were OK...- no marks added or taken. The main courses were pljeskavica (burger) which was so salty less than a 1/4 was eaten, pork knuckle in sour cabbage which was closer to overdone roast. SERVICE 0/1 20 minutes and three requests for a Sprite 15 minutes and three requests for a bill 15 minutes for wine top-up Waiters blaming kitchen staff for delays in food delivery and confusion about drinks Cutlery dropped onto the table between courses. FACILITIES 0/1 Toilets unheated when -1 C outside, so roughly at 5C. One side of the table was unpleasant as heating was provided by hot-air blowers from above. The other side cold as close to windows. PRICES 0/1 Pljeskavica 900 dinars - most expensive I've come across in Belgrade, especially considering its quality. Cheapest bottled wine was 2600 dinars for what should be house wine (Kovacevic chardonnay) and is typically around 2200 in top tier restaurants in Belgrade. Rakija between 360 and 450 dinars (effectively valuing bottles at €60-80). Steak 2200 dinars. All in, 20% above restaurants like Madera and Franš. All in, a sad downfall of a restaurant with great and proud heritage.More

Very good atmosphere, wide space. Good music after 8pm. Food is very good and the service is prompt. Too bad it is not 100% non-smoking.

Dined here with a small group on a hot summer evening. The water spray from the ceiling was very welcome! Lovely garden/plant decor surrounding, outside dining. Traditional Serbian feel, especially when the musicians - guitar/accordion/vocals - start up. Service definitely above par. We had a...selection of salads, meats etc and desserts are offered for you to choose from a tray.More

The last time I was in Sindjelic, TripAdvisor did not exist. I still do not know why it took me so long to get back to one of the best places in Belgrade. Ok, the restaurant is not in the city center but ... Ambience,...staff, food ... everything was great. This time I decided to try something different, so I took a lamb in milk. The portions were huge, the taste great and I was proud of myself because the waitress was not right when she claimed that I will have a problem to finish entire portion. Friends had been eating Cevapcici, Karadjordje steak, Veal in cream sauce and cognac ... everything was exceptionally delicious. The staff fulfilled all our wishes, professionally and quickly. Special thanks to the waitress. And for the end, for all of you who did not know, they had a live band :-)More
