About
We are Alice, Carmen and Lacramioara. Three sisters and a restaurant. We started with Bistro Guxt, the restaurant where we tried to see what happens when passion becomes the main ingredient of a business. Something good came out of it and this encouraged us to elevate the experience to a level which better represents our identity and values. It took a magic touch and Bistro Guxt evolved into Noeme, a casual refined dining restaurant where we aim at relaxing the fine dining landscape of Bucharest. Same team where each of us is a strong beliver in sustainability and responsibility for people, environment and igredients. Our new home is a historical vila with an eclectic architecture which was

I happened by Noeme by accident and only went in for a bottle of wine, but after I smelt the food coming out, I wish I ate something. A welcoming vibe with a charming host providing a detailed history of the building and knowledgeable recommendations...on the wine. He is an excellent conversationalist in both English and Romanian and provides experience on a number of topics, if you're a tourist, use his local knowledge. The ambience is relaxed with a tasteful music collection being played in the background (I heard some classics such as the doors, dire straits, etc), yet quiet enough to have a conversation or read a book without it being distracting. The decor was designed by one of the female owners. Not being familiar with interior design terminology, you'll have to take my word that it is impressive and invokes feelings of warmth yet intrigue, with earthy colours mixed with turquoise. The table and glassware are all exquisite. I particularly liked the ceramic plates they use. You can really tell that no expense has been spared. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design and coordination of the restaurant and the tasteful execution is a breath of fresh air from the usual tacky higher-end restaurants in Bucharest. Unfortunately, I didn't order any food, but from what I saw from other tables, they appeared to get served their dishes quickly and they smelt amazing. I will have to come for a full meal sometime soon. In conclusion, I would recommend this restaurant to people looking for an after-work corporate event, birthdays or special occasions and of course its the perfect option for a romantic evening as I had.More

This is an old favorite, being recently relocated and renamed from Guxt to Noeme. This is a very beautiful place with creative food that is full of subtle tastes that become a unique experience. It is high quality without being pretentious and you can feel...the love and effort put in by a wonderful family. It is a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. Give it a go for a lovely food experience in Bucharest.More

We have been to Bistro Guxt more or less by accident. It was alreday quite late and we still needed something to eat. Read one or two comments and we just decided to go there without reservation. And what we then got was just extremely...high amazing! The staff there is perfect. The location is more than stunning!!! Love tho really every detail. High quality in every corner. And the food... on point! Great philosophy. You really feel that's a family business! A raw model! We can only highly recommend going there! The location is a bit hidden so take an uber or taxi. Hopefully being back soon!More

We stayed on Saturday, 8th Feb 2020 at the restaurant. It was a very spontaneous reservation. Although we came a little bit later we received a very warm welcome by the staff. The waitress spoke very well German, the wine was nice and the food...was extremely great and tasty. The ingredients of the menu were really high-quality. We would visit this restaurant again for sure in case we would travel again to Bucharest. From our side it is really recommended!!! Special thanks to the kitchen and service team.More
