A Lovely Lunch

Before heading off to the airport we came here for lunch, we booked the table in advance but in fairness with it being a monday lunch time it was pretty quiet with only 3 or 4 tables occupied. We had a couple of soft drinks and were straight onto our main courses which came out quickly and looked and tasted great. I had a Cheeseburger which came in brioche bun with a side of fries and coleslaw. My partner had an Aspargus Gnocchi which also looked great. We followed that with a couple of desserts, a Creme Brulee and a Cheesecake, as with our mains both looked great and tasted the same. The bill came to a total of 212 Lei which comes out to just £35.00, even in our final meal I am amazed at the crazy value for money this country offers. A great meal in modern clean surroundings, great service from the friendly staff all at a bargain price, Can't be faulted.

Great night at the restaurant

A great experience at this restaurant. Booked by and greeted well by waiter Viorel which took care of all our requests. Initially we called on the day 3 hours before to make a reservation with a view of the parliament which was taken care of by the same waiter. All the food was genuinely good and great value for price also the Bombay Special tasted really well, well done to the barman. Also even though we ordered the desserts at the very end of closing they were served well and not in a rush ,with a limoncello to top it off. We had already visited this restaurant back in June and saw a lot of familiar waiter faces which says a lot about employee retention and loyalty which in return customer reviews speak by themselves. Keep it up, we will be back! Mulțumesc foarte mult😁

The food is very good and is served fast. The staff was really nice until the moment to pay. The waiter was asking for 1 person to pay the meal of 8 people and then we would solve the bill between us... When we said no, that each person would pay for their own food the waiter became really arrogante. I never had this experience, where the restaurant has a group of 8 people and expects one to pay all...

We chose this place for a Sunday brunch, the place is very beautiful and modern, the service is fast and attentive, generous portions (we took avocado toast and excellent fresh juices). Thanks to Marian for the excellent service. Highly recommended!

Restaurant not very large internally, but very nice. There is a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent selection of dishes (starters, first and second courses of fish and meat). Good selection of wines of various levels. We took both fish and meat, and it was all of excellent quality and well cooked. The icing on the cake is the service. We were served by a historic waiter who has worked there for many years and still has the enthusiasm of someone just starting out. He is in love with his job and it shows, because he talks to you about everything with great passion and competence. Absolutely recommended. Well done, congratulations!

The service is a disgrace. I went there a couple of times just to give a fair review. The food could be better but the ingredients are cheap so I can't blame the stuff. The menu is so chaotic. You just know when a restaurant has too many options that they are after money. It shows, it's a mess. Would not recommend it. The waiters are rude and ignorant.

Excellent and classy restaurant

Exceptional restaurant located in the center of Bucharest, 100 meters from the parliament building. Here you can taste delicious dishes from salads to burgers and meat main courses. The desserts like the chocolate volcano and the pavlova are delicious, we ate a fantastic chocolate cake. We ate really well and the staff is also very knowledgeable and kind, our girls were cold outside and Marian, the waiter, immediately gave us a table inside. The coffee was great even though we are in Romania. Special food and kind, friendly and nice staff, classy environment, excellent both for kids like us and for adults looking for a more private environment. Really affordable prices, a giant salad €8… hamburger €10.

Superb restaurant in the center of the city. Our server Marian was excellent ; his friendliness meant that we felt like family straight away and he was efficient without being too much. The food was delicious, I would especially recommend the spaghetti aglio e olio with shrimp which was divine. My husband described the pavlova as the best he's ever had. We would return to Bucharest just to dine again at Haute Pepper.

Really lovely dinner experience. Everything was delicious and high quality. We ordered the bruschetta, chicken supreme, and beef fillet with broccoli and truffle mashed potatoes. Also enjoyed the Hugo Spritz, Espresso Martini, and a glass of Red Wine before the incredible Pavlova dessert. Highly recommend for a night with friends or a date, as the ambiance is beautiful and intimate. Our server Marian was very helpful with his suggestions and made our dining experience even better. Will be coming back :)

We came here for dinner tonight in a recommendation from someone we met on a tour today. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the waiter, he couldn't be more accommodating, he was friendly and polite, he memorised our order and it was absolutely delicious. The hospitality, the service and the food was outstanding. I would definitely come back here! Shame we ate out mains without taking a 📸

We visited this lovely place while in Bucharest and had a fabulous meal. The food was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Prices are really reasonable and I heartily recommend the pavlova if you‘re a sucker for a dessert!

Great food choice in the center of Bucharest. I was pleasantly surprised by a nice selection of pasta dishes in the menu,fresh pasta cooked to perfection ! I asked for pasta dishes not in the menu and they were vey gentley and prepare exactly what I want ! Thank you ! Also the pork ribs are very good with tasting flavoring. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The price are very good ! I will definitely return!

We visited this restaurant after visiting the Palace, by random. Great location, good food. We were two families with kids, we had lunch, the food was rather good. The only thing that i would suggest would be to have a kids menu also. The kids ordered burger or schnitzel. But the schnitzel, had also seeds in its panko cover, which made it unlikable to the kids whilst for me it was delicious! The men had the pork chop. It was good. I had the Ceasar Salad with chicken. Not many greens. Just one green with crouton, chicken in pieces, parmesan and sauce. Could be better. This restaurant though, had the best Cheesecake i ve had in ages. However, this is something i ve noticed to all restaurants, asking for a tip of 10 or 12 %. It is not mandatory. So why ask it? We had a bill of about 522 Lei (Euro 105 for 7 people) and they asked for a tip of 60 Lei (Euro 12). My husband didnt understand it, so he paid, and i only discovered it later when i checked the ticket. I also found out that they charged 2 beers extra (Lei 30) and i when i pointed it out , they ve returned the 30 Lei, and apologised. But i didnt like this.

Great Experience

12th of July . It was a great experience. Even our child enjoyed the food. I asked if there was a meal for children with the very professional cooperation (they brought us schnitzel & fries and it was really so tasty ), the desserts was amazing as well , everything was served quickly, Hygiene and perfect . Special thanks to the gentleman Mr, Viorel who took care of our table. Thank you.
